    Inverter Charger Question

You can make this work in several different ways. If you do not need fast charging at 240V, then a 2kW 110V inverter will work. Make sure to buy a pure sine wave inverter. It should charge your Alta quicker and you will be able to use TVs, microwaves and coffee machines with it. Batteries are...

    Map switch..... where to buy?

Weird! I ordered a couple of these switches from Amazon and the order got canceled too. I think they then asked for the make and model of my bike and of course they didnt know nothing about Alta.

Alta Cross Country Race Pacer Vehicle

I do not understand why anyone would choose to run behind when you can ride up front. :ricky:

You can use a thin 3M vinyl. It is super stretchy and sticks with no bubbles. @OneLapper has wrapped his whole bike with it. Maybe he could share the part number or an Amazon link?

I like the black subframe. Looks stealthy! The black color really accentuates the Alta's design with its minimalistic rear subframe the only function of which is to hold the seat and the rear fender. There is nothing else there, and the black color shows it very well.

240V Inverter in a Van or Truck

I ended up with Recipe #3, although with four 100A lithium batteries. 240V Inverter in a Van or Truck Wow, how the Chinese prices went up! Thanks, @Trump. You can get a slightly cheaper inverter, which appears to use all the same components: SUNGOLDPOWER 4000W Max 12000W Input 240VAC Split...

    BRP - showcase

Initially, electric cars weren't selling to any noticeable extent affecting the car market. All the electric and hybrid cars used to be designed to look weird and futuristic by engineers who hated current gas cars and wanted to build futuristic weird-looking ugly people movers. This went on...

    BRP - showcase

I am disappointed that the design of the 2-wheeled concepts makes them more attractive to people who have never bought motorcycles before and probably never will.

    Honda CR Electric! Yes!

    I like it. It's a very high-tech F1-inspired design: a stressed battery and a stressed motor!

Maximum power the different Maps on the ALTA SM?

From the dyno curves, even if the power does not drop off over time, she can ride below 15mph or over 50mph and generate no more than 11hp.

Maximum power the different Maps on the ALTA SM?

Not sure about the SM, but the MX and MXR have 18 kW in Map 1. Alta Redshift MXR and MX on a Dyno - Riding Maps Demystified

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Have one coffee in the morning but leave pop, beer and nightime coffees until after the race. Water alone is not enough. Gatorade is better, but I do not like the high sugar and high acidity. If you have a favorite sport electrolyte mix or drink, then drink that. My...

If you are uncertain about your riding skills then start practicing rutted turns and rutted straightaways. If the soil is moist, deep ruts will start developing within the first hour or two. But do not let this scare you, this will affect all racers and all teams, everyone will be slow and more...
