    Inverter Overheating?

Agreed. Not normal. You have a coolant pump or fan issue. Or your coolant has a air pocket in it and needs to bled.

    More information on display!!

OP, have you had overheating issues? If you fan and coolant pump are working correctly it should be very difficult to overheat the bike. I've raced faily deep sand tracks in 98 degree temps for 20 mins without having overheating issues. If you have had issues, can you describe the riding you...

Questions: Track & Trail set-up. Charging & Transport.

I would highly suggest you test ride both the Stark and an emtb. Both of them have enough range that batteries typically outrun a human battery. Unless you an Ironman type tri-athlete, it's highly unlikely you will need more battery or swappable batteries.

Questions: Track & Trail set-up. Charging & Transport.

I just cut and pasted some cheapish panels from Signature Solar. You are correct, probably no need for bi-facial panels on trailer. There are lots of options approaching 400W for around $100.

General Altis Sigma $5500 85 killer!!

Looks like all Surrons and Talaria's were just made obsolete!! With some suspension this should crush the 85 class racing.

Do you switch maps while riding? I do.

I only switch maps from start to riding track. I used to use 60HP for starts and race in 48 HP. Then everyone around me realized 60HP isn't even fair when starting against 450s. I now start in 48 HP and race in 48 HP. I feel 48 HP is very fair off gate against 450s. I can holeshot with a...

Questions: Track & Trail set-up. Charging & Transport.

I would start with a gas generator. You need at least 3.3kw continuous power at 220v to fast charge. This is the best buy, IMHO, that meets the Starks fast charge needs: https://www.costco.com/a-ipower-gxs7100ird-7100w-dual-fuel-inverter-generator.product.4000078099.html If you want to go...

Check if your bolts and screws are still there

I always try to use loctite on everything. I'm very curious to see if the lack of engine vibration on the Stark results in bolts loosening much less than ICE bikes. It's my theory, but only time will tell. We seemed to have many more problems with bolts/nuts loosening on our KTM 2 strokes vs...

40 miles of dirt road 1500 feet elevation change possible on stark?

I would think he makes it no problem unless they are going 60+ MPH. I did 38 miles with some nasty climbs and had 19% battery left. And that was prior to 14% and 10% range increase. Be interested to hear his report.

RE: Stark - My conversation with Mike Burkeen, AMA Deputy Director of Racing

To be honest, before I spoke with Mike Burkeen, I thought that he was a FUDster who just hated electric bikes and was making any excuse to ban them. I spoke with him for almost an hour, and I'm 99% sure that's not the case at all. I feel he has some legimate concerns regarding the noise/safety...

RE: Stark - My conversation with Mike Burkeen, AMA Deputy Director of Racing

LONG POST!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! THIS IS ALSO POSTED ON VITAL, BUT I THOUGHT A FEW PEOPLE MIGHT NOT READ VITAL Caveats: I was speaking with Mike Burkeen who works for the AMA. I’m sure his thoughts and opinions don’t necessarily reflect the AMA’s corporate stance. I am relaying the...

Rear hand brake - major fading, solution??

I should have written an update a while ago. After riding more with the LHRB, I discovered the major cause of my rear brake fading was .... ME. I think the rear brake was so easy to use when on the handlebars, I started using the rear brake too much. As soon as I rode with a more correct...

Any Electric or Hybrid vehicles for Stark Transport that have a built in plug for charging?

Another CyberTruck owner here. I would agree that any hybrid/electric pickup with a 220v outlet outputing at least 15amps is best. The CyberTruck will output 50amps, which is enough to fast charge three Starks at once. Some of the trims of the Lighting only output 110v, which is fine for...

    Varg suspension

I had my suspension re-valved by RG3 in Boise. It is night and day better than stock suspension. The stock suspension has an extremely stiff shock and an overly soft fork. The worst part of the fork behavior is diving under front brake use. I've only got one ride on the new stuff, but I'll...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

I don't feel that racing 450s in 48hp mode is much of a disadvantage, unless you are racing at the highest level. I typically race my Stark in either 42HP or 44HP modes. I was pulling 450s up the Mesquite hill with that little horsepower. And very similar abilities to mine. I think the Stark...

    Varg suspension

The shock is extremely stiff. I've got the low speed comp all the way out and preload spring adjusted all the way loose, only generating 98mm sag. It was ordered for 185 rider and I'm only 155, so it's a little understandable. I've got it at suspension shop right now.
