    Varg suspension

Here is my situation: • rider's weight in underwear: 74 kg/163 lbs • suspensions setup: 75/80 kg • use: motocross only At the beginning, the suspensions felt stiff to me in every track. Saturday at the track, at 8 hours circa it seemed to me that maybe they had softened a little bit but still...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

Ok, so I've just updated my bike. I've tested it by spinning the rear wheel with the throttle on the stand in different maps, by charging it some minutes and by testing it again after having turned the phone off and then on (see post #13). I haven't tested race mode and surely I won't do it...

    Drivetrain getting louder

Ok, so I understand it would be better to listen to it but probably it would be little practical, so I guess we have to use a description. Then, how would you describe the noise? Is it just the normal whirring noise but louder? Does it sound like bearings losing preload and shaking?

    Drivetrain getting louder

Do you have a video about that to share? I tried listening to the noise of my Varg while spinning the rear wheel on the stand and it seems to me that most of the noise comes from the chain. Are you sure this is not your case? Is your chain tension correct?

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

As far as I've understood from this post, it happened to someone else, too! From my limited knowledge of electronics, it is possible that a faulty update leads the bike to do something which harms the battery, like for example managing the voltage or the state of charge of the cells in the wrong...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

Well, after having read post #1 I didn't update the firmware to that version and surely I'm not going to do it now that I've read about your problem. Honestly my bike works properly and unless it becomes necessary for some reasons or they release a newer version, I think I shouldn't update...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

So, has anyone tried the Varg updated to this firmware version? Any problems?

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Well, I personally prefer precise specifications, too, but to me it sounds too demanding to expect that a company does something like washing a bike multiple times varying parameters like pressure and distance of the nozzle until damage occurs in order to create those specifications. I can't...

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Actually the water pressure at a depth of 4.5 feet/1.3 m, which would be enough to submerge a Varg, would be only 0.13 atm/2 PSI and that would be the pressure at the lowest point of the bike; the electronics, placed higher, would be exposed to an even smaller pressure. Let's say that due to...

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

Some days ago I changed mine and I recorded a video of the oil being lifted by the gears. I was able to see the same thing turning the wheel by hand. I will remember this in case I will need a quick way to verify that the gearbox is not working dry.

    Power Upgrade on the Varg

That will surely work with an ICE bike with a carburator: I get that the clutch disengages the engine mechanically and, thanks to the kill switch, the spark plug won't ignite any more fuel. Maybe it would have worked with the sportsbike of my example but the rider panicked. On an electric bike...

    Power Upgrade on the Varg

Although I don't know much about electronics, I think that trying to hack the Varg would be a very bad idea and I will tell you why by reporting to you a story a marshall told me in a supermoto/sportbikes track: One day a customer of the track entered it riding his 1000cc sportsbike whose...

    Varg charging from generator.

Some days ago I wrote, on this forum, that a power station would have been too expensive and that a generator would have been a more sesnsible choice instead, but I made a small mistake: I didn't check the typical efficiency of a generator. According to a quick search, it seems that, in order to...

The big Stark Varg supermoto information topic

As far as i know, top speed of vehicles is mainly affected by their power and by their aerodynamic drag. I think that a vehicle having comparable power and drag to the Varg is the Husky 701, which exceeds 190 indicated kph.

do you store the bike in standby mode or completely off?

I suppose that they could technically make this happening creating such mode in the app. The only problem that I see is that, as far as I know, it's advisable not to keep electric devices under charge unattended because there is a significant risk of fire. Maybe this piece of advice doesn't hold...

do you store the bike in standby mode or completely off?

In which mode do you store it? Why? Personally, up to some days ago I have kept it shutdown because: • I don't want thieves to notice a flashing red light in the darkness: there are some holes in the garage door, • I think that the flashing red light may accelerate the battery discharge a...

Varg broken out of the box Red light constant

Sorry for your understandable disappointment. I've noticed that, if an update is available, it takes some minutes before you see it and also that, with the latest versions of the app, there is a popup on the phone for the update. Have you tried keeping the bike turned on, even with that steady...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

3.5 kw or higher kw generators are also way cheaper, besides I've heard a lot of people using generators to power tyre warmers in parking lots of supermoto tracks and, with 4 strokes bikes hitting limiters in the background, you could barely hear them.

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

Non c'é di che! :) Yes, if indeed the OEM charger of the Varg is capable of 3.3 kw and that power station can deliver 3 kw + some contribution from the solar panels, it should charge the bike roughly at the maximum rate allowed from the OEM charger. At a certain point the owner of the bike sets...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

Here is a video in Italian (the automatically traslated English subtitles look understandable) in which they describe the use a power station to chage a Varg: The interesting part starts @ 8:09. They say that that specific power station can produce 3,000 W and that the number can be increased a...
