I'd put the extra battery packs on both sides of the stock battery. Having any weight high in the rear will mess up the bike's handling and stability really bad.

I think you should build add-on battery packs before the to-go chargers. Some guys might want to buy small emergency add-ons, just enough to get them home if the main battery dies. Some will want to increase their riding range. I might even buy/build an SM then, if I can make a 50-mile round...

Glad I didn't go with the shock bladder. I wanted to keep my RaceTech nitrogen charging bolt because this is what I use in all my other bikes, and I have a needle to poke it.

There was at least one more patent -- A heat shield to prevent a thermal runaway. Although I am now having a hard time finding it.
