    Redshift in hard enduro

Some time late this summer. I am going to make a countdown timer to it.

    Redshift in hard enduro

Yes, it is like the Supercross, except they jump over logs and into the mud puddles.

    Redshift in hard enduro

I do not think the Redshift could be competitive in the Romaniacs. They would have to swap battery packs and that would kill any time gains that they can make on the competition. I would be more interested in the US Endurocross championship this year. Alta hired a top rider Ty Tremaine to race...

Is the Redshift MX suspension worth re-valving?

That's a bummer. You can ship, the suspension shops receive and ship things all the time. Or you could look for a local guy who works on KTMs. You should ask your dealer, perhaps they know someone.

Is the Redshift MX suspension worth re-valving?

Dealers are usually clueless about revalves. Your best bet is to find a local RaceTech shop, especially since the Alta specs call for RaceTech fork adjusters.

A (240v) high output alternator on truck engine to charge the bike

LOL! They will appreciate the sweetest 2-stroke sound and the smell of castor oil right next to their parking area.

    2018 Alta MXR Shock Re-Spring and Re-Valve

Yep, I figured to keep the throttle open the very first time at a motocross track. Today was different, there were kickers on the short and steep faces of some big jumps. Those kickers were blowing through my whole rear suspension travel. My throttle was neutral on the face of the jump but wide...

    2018 Alta MXR Shock Re-Spring and Re-Valve

My MXR suspension is going for a revalve as soon as possible. Just came back from a local track that I am planning to race this season, and the short and steep jump faces, some with kickers, made it almost impossible to jump in a predictable manner. Almost endoed twice. I would have definitely...

A (240v) high output alternator on truck engine to charge the bike

I could probably spin that 40 kW charger with my one bike to charge the other.

Is the Redshift MX suspension worth re-valving?

What I think you are describing is the soft MX suspension that bottoms out on the faces of the jump. I have experienced that myself. You probably need stiffer springs but you definitely need more damping. Check out my MX suspension upgrade thread. You may want to do the same. If you can find...

digiNow SuperChargers for Altas - Interest Check

@MVetter -- Getting an official approval from Alta would be awesome for your sales. But based on my experience, you may never get it, simply because we are asking Alta to endorse a product that they are not familiar with and have no control over. It might be easier to get a UL or CE approval...

    Alta Cost Efficiency

Hi Morgan! Welcome to the Forum again. You have to add the cost of charging an Alta at home, which we here worked out to be $1.20 - 3.00 per full "tank". Probably on the low side of that, if you are not in Alaska. And you also should put a value on your own time. An opportunity cost. That time...

A (240v) high output alternator on truck engine to charge the bike

If we convince Morgan @MVetter to make those DigiNow chargers for us, they could be hooked up to any power source, I was told. I wonder if 12V would work as an input.

    Our Alta backflipper down 👎

Map 1 feels good it you are riding slow tight sections. It may feel okay if you haven't warmed up yet and decide to go for a jump. You will only notice it on the face of the jump.

    Our Alta backflipper down 👎

This sucks. I think the Alta is the safest bike ever for jumping. Can't hit a neutral, can't be in a wrong gear, and can correct the attitude in the air more widely. But hitting a jump in Map 1 or with a dying battery can send you a bit short. A lot short, if you are going for a backflip.

Webasto do not know anything yet, they just started talking to Whisper Power. They haven't even committed to being their dealer. Need to call someone else.
