someday batteries will be like propane tanks for bbq grills...drop off the old, ride off with a new. I can swap a surrons battery in less than a minute. it will happen, there just aren't enough bikes to standardize batteries...YET!!

that's like surron's system except bigger. but that may raise the center of gravity a bit more than Alta's battery placement

you're welcome, they're getting license and registration for my trials bike so an Alta is no problem.

go to dirtlegal.com, they can legalize anything or your money back. atv's, utv's, golf carts, dirt bikes etc. as long as you have a 17 digit vin# and a mso or bill of sale(hand written is accepted) they will get you a title and a plate. dirt bikes are appx $399. good luck.
