    Jack hammer varg forks

I’m splitting my time between tracks and trails, and comfort is a priority trying to overcome the harsh suspension. 15 hours on the bike, front tube lasted an hour, rear is still red, 18”. I’m 67, and C level trying to find my old speed, but with nothing to prove. Tried 13 psi and it was too...

    Jack hammer varg forks

I did the same thing with my Beta KYB’s. It’s just tuning the air/oil chamber. Oops 😬

    Purging front shocks?

Yes, overkill. Forks don’t build heat like the shock. Some people use negative pressure by slightly collapsing the forks before putting in the screws as a external preload adjustment. If you bleed them every time you will rarely get a puff of air out.

Stark Varg: Gearing for optimal range

I can’t answer for them, but I got my answer for a $27 sprocket. Never going back. Maybe guys in mountains won’t like/try it, but in flat TX it’s great.

    Jack hammer varg forks

I’m going to make sure I exhaust all stock tuning options before I send out my suspension. I’m satisfied that the heavy springs are good for me. After starting with clickers suggested here I have been working towards comfort. Removing fork oil and backing off of compression and rebound front and...

Stark Varg: Gearing for optimal range

To further expand on this topic, I will have a party if I am ever able to drain my battery in 1 ride 😀 I have never used beyond 70% in a day, including rest periods since my arms give up way before the battery does. By going with 14/42 my goal was improving rideability, and it has been...

    Stark range video(s)

Nobody’s considering gearing, IMO high revs, wheelspin and regen are the enemy. Downhill regen is different. Regen is like dragging the parking brake.

    Steg Pegz!

Yes, I was thinking 3d would be great. It does need to be rubber, not plastic for best grip.

    Replacement handlebar?

2nd ride on my Twisted Engineering composite handlebars. KTM low closely resembles the original and has plenty of room to mount things. Went with the 3X not wanting to feel the bars moving, but I would go 4x next time for more flex. I have found relief from right hand arm pump going dead, but...

    Steg Pegz!

My crude experiment has paid off in V2. The rubber bumpers were first installed further back with a flat boot contact surface similar to using 3 steg pegs. In this position they were hard to get locked in unless you were riding like Jett. I moved them down and forward, making contact further...

Stark Varg: Gearing for optimal range

Today was my first time to use my new gearing on the Stark. 14/42 for a 3.0 gear ratio, it required removing 2 links from the chain (112), I chose to run the axle as far back as possible. The steel sprocket was a JT from Amazon for $27. Super happy with this choice. Surprised 😳 that it was...

Moving Varg charger to different case

It was an easy job, although I didn't mount any cable stays. I just put paint on the bottom of the 4 posts and marked the spot to drill and used the original screws. There was too much loose stuff and that bulky stand which is hard to get the bike on, now I am back to my step lift stand.

Moving Varg charger to different case

Wondering, do you have to keep the pelican case open for venting while using it? Not so foolproof then, but easier to carry around.

Moving Varg charger to different case

I like the extra room for an extension cord.

Australian Championship shows why the AMA has banned Stark. It ain’t Safety.

Did you see the Lazer999 video with the fastest mx bikes in the world drag racing? It wasn't even close, Stark smoked them all and no four strokes even made the final four.

Australian Championship shows why the AMA has banned Stark. It ain’t Safety.

There was a time when the 500cc "Open" class was king. including 650 4t's. One off bikes were common, and works bikes. Now it's lame. Scared of a faster bike.

    AMA and Electric Motorcycles NEWS

They realize they are missing money. There is by now enough riders to make a class, even with the late notice. It's a great start, and opens some closed doors. With Beta releasing the new 350 2 stroke MX'er, the Open class is shaping up!

Australian Championship shows why the AMA has banned Stark. It ain’t Safety.

The religion of powerplants isn't much different than the religion of off road vs track riders. It's baffling to me how many dirt bike riders are stuck in one camp or the other. Moto guys won't try off road events, and off road guys rarely hit the track to practice or race. I just don't get it...
