Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

@DonCox @Dave Daum as a dude with zero Welding capabilities or any deeper knowledge... as far as I am aware welding Steel Mount to Aluminium tube is not possible right? So I would need the spacer pipes then made from Steel? anyway as I want my Build to be as good as possible I may also get...

Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

@DonCox that’s exactly how I was thinking right now. After some googling in the world of electric forklifters there are plenty ANL and CNL fuses available rated 80v dc and even up to 125v dc with 300 / 400 or 500A I will get one of those with a waterproof ANL fuse holder I guess

Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

Hi @DonCox and of cause all others I am wondering is there a specific reason you and other use these type of „kill switches“ on their builds? This was the „highest spec“ one I could find… is there a version for 72V and above? Which variants you use? My setup currently would be battery >...

Lithium King QS138 Rear Motor Mount

just looking in my Amazone history xD it was a: Aluminium Pipe: 17mm inner 20mm outer Diameter Aluminium Pipe: 21mm inner 25mm outer Diameter Due to manufactoring tolerances ther was just a tiny tiny bit of force needed to move the 21 inner tubes on the 20mm outer tubes so they sit quiet snug...

Lithium King QS138 Rear Motor Mount

in case that helps: for the lithium King mounts I used one long pipe across the whole visible part of Swingarm Bolt then put the LK Mounts on it and adjusted the motor to the correct sprocket position. Then took the measurements of the 3 Spaces before middle and after the LK Mounts and then cut...

Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

@Theo yep that Idea was never really an option for me as I am not building the Battery myself, I doubt Amorge can do that. with one BMS connected to two battery housings or even worse two bms. In the end the plan was to have it swappable slide in and out from the top. the Plastics and the Tank...

Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

@bayodome at least in my situation I have to stick to max 81v battery’s since my x-9000 controller can only handle up to 95v and a fully charged 88v ewatt battery has up to 104v so that crashes the limit there should be a 3sul something and a big fardriver controller that are capable of handling...

Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

Yet another CRF 250 Build but its my first so... ;)

this sizes sound exactly like the Electro & Co eg. eonlithium.com 76v 48ah battery. Also tried to test fit that in the 2009 CRF 250 Frame but zero chance would have to cut away way too much from the frame. so 72v will be enough for me I will see what amorge is able to do maybe also an...
