Pretty firm ground - only a few sandy sections here and there - maybe 5%

Riding time was probably 1:15 - pretty flat - I weigh 185

When I trail ride I consistently (barely) get 20 miles of range. I ride in map 2. The trails are very twisty with lots of acceleration out of the corners. Is this normal - seems low? What are other EXR’s getting for range?

Matt stayed it is a KTM subframe that had to be highly modified by welding. The seat is 1/2 Alta in the front and Honda in the rear - KTM rear fender and Honda side panels

Also the shrouds are definitely going in the right direction IMO

I’m going down the same path - I actually bought a 1995 CR subframe and seat because welding the steel will be easier than aluminum and plastic is pretty cheap -also the stock Alta seat is too wide for my liking. Just need these improved shrouds, I can’t stand the stock ones - too wide, hurt...

Yes agreed about covering more of the frame. Seeing more options now that I tried to do a template.

I was playing around with some cardboard - was trying to fit shrouds around contours of the frame.

I would be interested in an A pack but need the wiring connectors and controller and possibly the electric motor - it’s for a project I am looking at. Vince

That’s a pretty good build - do you still have it - can you provide some details on the battery you used / controller etc Also how does it compare to your mxr

I like it - was hoping you could also slim the width down making the bike more narrow by the knee area - the stock Alta shrouds really flare out for no reason - basically an almost flat sheet of plastic. Great work so far

Looking more closely at the design I really like the simplicity - looks like common common components like motor and controller - ideal placement of electric motor right at swing arm pivot - quick change battery - steel frame - like it

Would really like if the shrouds were very narrow - the Alta frame is a nice slim design but the shrouds are too wide in my opinion - also need to get rid of those ribs that hurt you knees Maybe copy something like an early 2000’s KX shroud which is basically a flat piece of plastic

Seems pretty comparable to the Alta - also really like that you can swap the battery in 5 minutes

Wow that bike is very trick and sano (80’s references) - could you send a little information about the bike, the motor you used, the battery and how you made it, controller model, HP etc Great job
