Easier option is to update the inverter firmware specifically from a SM to an EX. MT can target specific components of the vehicle. Plus out of all the FW updating the inverter is the longest (and likeliest to break) to update.

To say this again. EXR235 was the last EXR VIN struck at Alta Motors. The last MXR struck at Alta Motors was MXR550 (last legally known VIN that was struck in operation)

Check also the pins between the display harness connector and the main wiring harness. Its a brown connector (Molex) which may have a tendency to pop out.

To re-iterate (possibly sticky since info like this has a tendency to slip) Alta had Polisport fenders for the MX, EX and SM. Acerbis made the parts for the rear subframe (other than the street legal part, aka the beaver tail) . Fork guards are also Polisport. Front Number plate (MX, MXR)...
