My bars are stock width and these fit well. If you're looking for full wind or roost protection, then they're not going to be the best choice. But they do have a a full aluminum wrap co-molded inside the plastic and mount very solidly.

I've always thought that fix was a bit sketchy for anything other than perfectly flat, firm and level ground. Especially if you haven't cut off that crazy auto-retract spool.

That thing looks SO figured out - and it's a deal at $250 for what you get! I almost wish I needed one, but here in my location I will rarely if ever see 40-F degrees or lower. And if it ever does get that low, I'll most likely be home in front of the fireplace, not on my Varg.

I made this hardwood block riser as a quick prototype to see if all the dim's and angles were good before I went ahead and carved out an Acetal or maybe aluminum version. But dang, the wood one works surprisingly well.
