    Lifan 4250 Generator Review

I was under impression that you had a big and loud generator that kept you from making any friends at the track, LOL! Glad you figured it out. Yes, please, share your sound isolation fixes and pitch this generator to us over the cheaper or the fancier ones. That Briggs and Stratton Q6500 is...

Battery Technology and Best practice battery care

There was no page navigation at the top in the mobile view. I thought this would become an issue, and so it did. But I gave it another thought, googled, and fixed it. Before: After:

    Lifan 4250 Generator Review

Well, in my pursuit of newer and better things, I ordered a Lifan 4250 Generator. It was on sale for about $600 at Home Depot. I am very disappointed. Lots of false advertising is involved with this unit: - The core components are exactly the same as on my DuroMax 4400, but at a $300 price...

Yep, leave the old one out there. Post a link to the new one in it. Else this forum and perhaps some others will have broken links!

    Bingo.

    Drag Racing MX vs MXR

If true, this would be weird. Why would I want more HP at 70mph? I need more HP at 35mph and below, when I am coming up on a jump and need to give it more throttle to send it a little farther.

    2018 Alta MXR Shock Re-Spring and Re-Valve

Ask them to check your shim stacks and stiffen them up, if needed. Might save you time and money on a revalve.

    Drag Racing MX vs MXR

Those printed specs do not mean much, IMO. We will blow them out of the water real soon. I am going on a dyno on Monday. Already found a throwaway 19" tire to use on the dyno. The 3.5:1 gearing is the same as 3.53:1, just with one less decimal point. A rounding error. Most likely these are...

This piece of machinery is SWEET - Redshift EX

The PDF manual says 80ml. I was only able to fit in just a bit over 70ml to the top of the sight glass. Maybe 120ml is when it is fully dry?

    2018 Alta MXR Shock Re-Spring and Re-Valve

Thanks for the specs! Now I just need to find out two things: A) What the heck do I have in my shock (MXR #323) B) Is this new spec any good? The stock spring is 60 N/mm. Why did you try the 64 N/mm spring before you tried 62 N/mm? Just curious. Did they revalve your fork as well?

Yes, I heard the Rapid charger can charge the A-batties faster as well, but only the R-batteries can use its full capability. It might make a difference for me when I have only a narrow window to charge between the races or practice sessions.

This piece of machinery is SWEET - Redshift EX

Welcome to the Forum, Duncan! That's a pretty comprehensive review that you have here, I like it! The 4CS: I really like how Alta tuned it for trail riding. I suspect the MX and the EX might share the same suspension settings. I had to add more spring and damping for motocross, but I wish I...
