Cody, how did you guys make out with that battery? Since then a few options have come up to repair or replace your battery if you are interested.

They will pull out again unfortunately. Only thing that has held up for me is actually removing the insert completely, filling the cavity with an epoxy and then drilling for a coarse self tapping screw very similar to the ones used to secure the brake line in the front fork guard.

Don't hold me to this, but I somewhat remember a member having a similar problem that was resolved by trying a different bulb. The bulb still worked if I recall correctly, just was making the bike do funny things.

Haha, I think I saw what you are referring to on eBay, it has absolutely nothing to do with these bikes though, so do not purchase that item. 240v charging is possible with a simple cord adapter as long as the bike has the latest firmware.

I can't think of any cons as long as it's adequately secured.

There were problems that came about when switching to the cells that are used in the R packs that led to the wirebond problems. Not all code 35/36's are wirebond problems however, but many have been.

I take that back, 2018 should have the updated piston. In reality though it doesn't change the solution. You can put the bike on a stand and pump the air cartridge up and try and get them to extend enough to equalize the pressure in the lower chamber, but chances are they need serviced either...

There was a revised air piston for the AER’s in 2019, so I’d have them updated if you are experiencing issues with the air side. It’s possible to do with the right equipment, but it’s not for everyone.

I would think definitely do not attach to side number plate screws. That is going to be a challenge to find a good anchor point in the back. Just speculating here but I think there will need to be some sort of subframe modification to make it work.
