Who is the "Go to Guy/Shop" for Ohlins?

I had the opportunity to test the Ohlins RXF48 forks on my KX450f back to back against my Showa SFF TAC forks that have been modifed with RaceTech Gold Valve, valving for my skill, and SKF Glide kit (to extremely reduce stiction in the fork). I'm not sure if you are aware, but many people...

    External Charger Fault???!!!

You bring up a very good point. Looking through the user manual for this generator it mentions that you should attach a 6 AWG wire to a grounding rod driving at least 24" into the ground. I haven't done that with this generator.

    External Charger Fault???!!!

I have both the standard and rapid charger for my MXR. I have the standard charger mounted in my garage for charging when the bike is home, and use the rapid charger when i go to the track. The standard charger hooked up to 110v in my garage has worked flawlessly. Besides the hiccup i mentioned...

    External Charger Fault???!!!

I have only had it happen to me once so far. It has been flawless since.

    External Charger Fault???!!!

What worked for me is turning the bike off, unplugging everything, shutting the generator off and letting it sit for 5 minutes, then fire the generator back up, plug the charger into the generator and cycle the GFCI 2 or 3 times (reset/test/reset/test) and end with the green light on the GFCI...

Left Side Sprocket Cover Gap Filler

This bracket gap tore a dime sized hole in my left Alpinestars Tech 7. :cautious:

Left Side Sprocket Cover Gap Filler

I have accounted for the offset of the 3 mounting posts + the swingarm pivot bracket in my sketchup model. Took a lot of measuring to get right! I wasn't planning on printing an entirely new bracket, rather making a part that will attach to the current/stock bracket that closes up that gap. If...

2018 MXR - LACC Springhill race report

I'm still running the stock grips until they wear out. What you have there is Yamaha thumb! I still have no idea why they call it that because the brand of bike makes no difference. You need a pair of grip donuts, and maybe a better quality pair of gloves.

2018 MXR - LACC Springhill race report

Nice write up! I get a lot of attention as well every time I bring the bike to the track. I'm sure every Alta owner does :D. Hell, I even get attention with the bike in the pickup bed while driving to the track. I thought about making fliers to hand out to people because everyone seems to have...

    Crash Damage

The bodywork and how its all mounted can be improved, especially the front fender. The side number plates dont have much side-side support. The shrouds seemed to hold up well. The subframe seems to be really strong so far (and actually sort of cheap to replace vs gas bikes!).
