    Lackluster Cooling System Performance

The regen is a momentum killer. Push it not running and you will see there’s plenty of drag. It takes power to overcome the motor braking. Use the brakes.

Maximizing Range for the Stark Varg

A scoop tire and taller gearing with no regen will help you be more efficient in mud and sand.

Maximizing Range for the Stark Varg

This post on another forum (TT) is what prompted me to post this @udluz: How did you get 29 miles and have 48% left, towed it with another bike? I get between 25 to 38 before I'm at zero percent. I must ride a bit harder than you. I'm dumping mine next month for the 1.2. Been told maybe...

Maximizing Range for the Stark Varg

15/42 gearing Zero Regen (parking brake) Power setting is a minor factor, I leave mine on 60 all the time, I control it with my wrist rather than a setting. This week I did 29+ miles and finished with 48% battery, a mix of hard pack single track, a flat track, and 3 loose MX tracks over 3...

That's exactly why Stark refuses to be segregated into their own class. Nobody would care.

    Lackluster Cooling System Performance

Stark doesn't know everything, this is a brand new model now being sorted in the real world. I can assure you that my fan comes on less and for shorter times. They also totally dropped the ball on gearing, with everyone's biggest concern being range. My 15/42 is awesome and has seriously...

    Lackluster Cooling System Performance

After riding in mud, there has never been any there, it stays in the fender area. Being at the bottom, dirt will fall out.

    Lackluster Cooling System Performance

Easy with a hole saw bit. 15/42 with the axle all the way back.

    Lackluster Cooling System Performance

I drilled 3 big holes on each side of the side plate bottoms. The cooling fan came on way less and stayed on shorter. SuperMoto gearing for off road works.

Stark Varg Clutch - it's here now

Great post 👍 Traction control and a clutch (for sales purposes) for $250?

    Stark Future next models

Now that I think about it, it would be easy to create a single power unit and frame, and make it available in different seat heights by swapping wheel sizes. 65 sized, Mini 85 sized, Supermini, 7/8 and full sized. It would be a cheaper lighter version and would sell like crazy, and you could add...

    Stark Future next models

A smaller bike, but able to withstand racing and track use with jumping. That's where the current China bikes fall short. A REAL dirt bike. Like a Supermini or X Trainer sized, a big pit bike. Make a 19/17 and a 17/14 wheelset, use suspension like an 85, and follow the Varg pattern.

    Stark Future next models

IMO a 7/8th or 3/4 sized dirt bike is a huge market. Kids, shorter riders, women, beginners etc. A Sur Ron beater. Sur Ron competitors keep coming with more power and the aftermarket industry is huge. A smaller, lighter, cheaper version of the Varg would be great.

Australian Championship shows why the AMA has banned Stark. It ain’t Safety.

So the MX1 is also limited, not max power? The Regen and brakes make more sense when I realize you have big hills, in Texas we are flat. Now I'm curious how taller gearing works on big hills, but if mine is any indication (60hp model) there's still more than enough torque. Is your suspension...

Australian Championship shows why the AMA has banned Stark. It ain’t Safety.

When you say MX2 do you mean you are limiting the HP? If so, why? Never heard of anyone having blued brakes, really on any bike, but some have reported that the rear hand brake lacked power. Do you use the hand brake or foot? Is your generator putting out a constant 3500 @ 220v for max charge...

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

The Stark VARG Skugga is a specialized electric motorcycle built for military, law enforcement, and security applications, based on the consumer VARG EX dirt bike. "Skugga" is Swedish for "shadow," which reflects the bike's tactical design for stealthy and adaptable operations. Key features and...

Oh yeah, turn your Regen down to zero, you don't need it in the sand anyway. It eats battery on flat ground.
