    Losi Promoto RC scale bikes

I've just found these out and I'm tempted to get one! If only I had more room to use something like this... if they make the small size and it's cheaper maybe I'll do it for real!!! :p Take a look here, at the end of the video there is also a bigger track with a triple!!!!

    Molicel Tech (Stark Battery Thread)

An AI has just found us this article that explains the typical tradeoffs between cells that are more energy dense like the M65A and others which are more power dense like the P60B. In short, for energy density you try and "squeeze" into the cell those materials that hold charge -the active...

    Molicel Tech (Stark Battery Thread)

You can usually find it in the video description of YouTube videos.

    Molicel Tech (Stark Battery Thread)

Yes, at 6:04 (found it quickly by doing a search in the video transcrpit). It sounds weird to me too that Stark would ever make their own cells. What I've understood from that screenshot is that they make their own pack, not the individual cells, though. Like they make things like the BMS and...

    Molicel Tech (Stark Battery Thread)

Assuming the orginal MX 1.0 used P45B cells and assuming that Stark could go back to Molicel for some future models, here is a recap of the numbers; the numbers in orange font can also be found on the official datasheets linked below the table: P45B P60B nominal cell voltage 3.6 3.6...

Help Needed Gap spacer fork leg

Ciao Paolo! If you follow the procedure in the video posted by @AL_V above, once the axle lock nut is tightened, the position of the left leg of the fork can't be changed since the left axle holder is squeezed between the left wheel spacer and the aforementioned lock nut. At that point, the only...

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

You're welcome. In my case, the warranty ends two years after the date in which I collected the motorcycle from the dealer.

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

In your profile in Stark's site, in the vehicles section or in the Varg app in that section that shows information like suspension setting and rear rim size.

General regarding friends/people riding your bike

I think it depends also on the impression that those people give you, even though I've seen intelligent well to do people becoming idiots once they started twisting a throttle and I've witnessed it multiple times. Well, one thing that you can do is that you can limit the power to something not...

The big Stark Varg Supermoto pictures thread

I didn't know about it for wheelie purposes. I've checked the IG posted above and I can see that the guy can do pretty sick wheelies! I knew that Nick Tomasunas uses something similar to hook his foot when whipping.

The big Stark Varg Supermoto pictures thread

Dual radial master cylinder! I'd like to read some feedback from the rider who uses it. Also, it looks like there is a sort of fake shifter lever.

Stark mobile charger is out !

Well, if they want to test fast charging in the Norhtern emisphere, this is the best part of the year to be successful because in the extreme heat of summer presumably the current would be limited because of thermal limits and when it’s too cold charging shouldn’t be done. I also guess that...

    Stark Varg SM

Yes, like we can see @9:30 in this other video, indeed there are only two pinch bolts on the right side and none on the left side. Apparently, there is a threaded insert, presumably made up of steel, in the left axle lug and the thread of the axle mates directly with it, so there is no axle nut...

Stark mobile charger is out !

Yes, that's what I was thinking when I mentioned the orange cables from the inverter. The voltage should be the battery voltage, so around 360 V, lower when at low states of charge and higher when at higher states of charge.

Stark mobile charger is out !

How do you intend to use it? Not that I've ever opened them, but both the cable that connects the wall socket to the charger and the one that connects the charger to the bike have a sheath that must cover more than a wire, including a hot wire that brings the current to its destination and a...

    Stark Varg SM

I don't know about the EX or the MX 1.2, but I've measured the triple clamp offset of my MX 1.0 to be 22 mm. Here they say that the SM clamps have an offset of 16 mm: It also looks to me that the SM axle lug has a smaller offset, too. @rs911: in another thread, you mentioned the idea to buy an...

Stark mobile charger is out !

Well, aside for the fact that a portable charger is a wise idea for a street legal bike, the charger stand has been disliked by many and some people including me have noticed that it's pretty tall, so probably the SM has less ground clearance and therefore it's less suitable for that stand.

Stark mobile charger is out !

A possible explanation is that the Varg app is common to all users and therefore people with a 1.0 have the faster charge option, too, but only people with 1.2 powertrains can use it.

Stark mobile charger is out !

I remember having read somewhere, I think from some Stark's document, but don't quote me on this (I mean don't quote me unless you are replying to this post :)) that the battery was supposed to experience a continuous reduction in capacity up to the point that, after 500 full charging cycles...
