    electronic clutch

Someone also suggested that, in such a scenario, one can just remove the rear wheel, get the chain off of the rear sprocket, and reinstall the wheel. I have never tried that, though.

    Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1

But you see, the problem is that the most modern Varg you can buy is still basically like the first version and after all, in these two years from the first deliveries it doesn't seem to me that the more common ICE bikes have received any amazing improvement either, except for the questionable...

    Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1

Probably none of us knows for sure why the giants are still not selling high performance electric motorcycles, but IMO it's not because they couldn't match Stark Future's technology, but rather because they have assessed that it's still not profitable or not enough. Here are a couple of examples...

    electronic clutch

I agree with you and I can't be sure about this without trying an electronic clutch but I still believe that I wouldn't like an additional lever on the left side of the handlebar because I like my rear brake lever to be there and I prefer LHRB to foot brake. I also think it's worth mentioning...

    electronic clutch

Typically, it is suggested that in motocross you don't use the clutch while braking. Personally, I dislike the feeling of a chattering rear wheel and I use the clutch anyways with gas bikes if the engine braking is high enough to generate chatter. My Varg, with regen at 40%, never chatters.

    electronic clutch

I think it's very subjective. I prefer to have the rear brake lever instead of a clutch, but maybe Eli Tomac would feel more comfortable with an electronic clutch and a foot operated brake lever. Could he become faster if he spent time adapting to our setup? Hard to tell for sure. It feels to...

    electronic clutch

Here is another one. First of all, I believe that the following two points, already written about the model already discussed, hold good for this one, too: If they got approval from Stark, it would be a different situation. There is a link to their site in the video descripion. • the price is...

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

Have you installed any protection for the right motor cover and for the battery? If not, a right motor cover could be a useful spare part to bring with you, considering that someone reported to have broken it.

    Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1

link to Ninja specs link to Z specs I've actually found them out only recently. Notice that they both have a foot operated rear brake. Each of them has two removable batteries. Personally I think that they can't become successful: too expensive for commuting in a city, too little powerful and...

Varg EX has different sound to Varg MX. EX howls more and is significantly louder

Thank you for playing high level music without asking for a ticket. When I came home from high school, after I got off the bus, sometimes a guy passed by with an SXV. I paused the CD player, listened to the engine and then, when I couldn't hear it anymore, pressed the play button again. Sorry...

    Extended warranty

Well it is true that the best indicator of the wear of the bike is time of use while the warranty duration is measured in time regardless of the use; that's why another sensible option could be a warranty that lasts a certain amount of hours of use and years after production. Here we don't have...

    Extended warranty

Oh wait sorry for that, I didn't mean that you are a bot; actually I was jocking about my own compliment that I gave you about the logical approach. You see, when I ask AIs to check my reasoning, they always tell me things like "oh, what a smart thought you've had" or "you are hitting a key...

    Extended warranty

I agree about the fact that this is the main principle to be kept in mind when discussing this topic and I really like your logical approach! (which is the typical answer that I get by AIs when I ask them something ) On the other hand, I still think that there is a subjective component that...

Light Bee + Alta Redshift SM @ Sonoma Kart Trackday [June 30, 2025]

I love it when I do supermoto and I share the track with karts: the tyres of the bikes get covered by a layer of gokart tyres rubber and the grip becomes noticeably higher. Did you think the same? With those temperatures and a leather suit, you must have sweated quite a bit! That SXV just...

    Extended warranty

Happy to see this possibility! IMO, the fact that it's convenient or not is partially objective and partially subjective: Subjectively: - Is the owner going to keep that Varg? If not, will it be sold before or after the original warranty expires? - Are there any modifications or damages that...

    Chain slack

Maybe their "Countershaft replacement kit", part number SMX1-PT-SPCS-KT, includes what would be needed to fix @wfopete's bike.

    Emergency kit?

A good idea that I've read here from more than one person is to just bring with you the allen wrench to remove the rear wheel, so that the chain can be moved off of the rear sprocket and the bike can be pushed without the motor drag.

Performance difference from MX to EX?

Surely the torque at the wheel depends on gearing, but it doesn't depend on the wheel diameter. The force transimtted to the ground does depend on the size of the wheel, since it is equal to: torque to the wheel / wheel radius for example, the force that the Varg EX can put to the ground...
