    Varg - Gear Oil Change

Sorry to hear that. Is it locked because of a mechanical problem like seized bearings or electric like the motor stuck in one position? Did it lock while in motion or you turned it on and it was locked??

    Varg Red Tube

So have you been able to remove the core of the valve stem to pour the sealant? On my front tube the core just spun with the valve inside the red stem. I have to say that the red tube has an advantage: it's easier to install. When I removed it I didn't have a replacement tube available yet and...

    Anti-Theft?!

I think that disassembling that stuff can create a problem: moist air can enter those components and then, when the temperature will go below the dew point, there will be condensation. I have wondered how to prevent condensation in the battery etc. and I have come to the conclusion that they...

SM conversion for the Kart track....

I don't miss shifting gears in motocross because I prefer using my forefeet to support my body, but I think that in supermoto I'd prefer shifting: do you agree? Do you think that overall the SM Varg gives you more fun than a gas bike? Have you tried backing it in? To me it feels like the regen...

    Drivetrain getting louder

This issue is quite serious especially because just on this forum there is more than a person having reported a weird sound and two people will have to change the power unit: apparently the probability to have it is significant. On the other hand: - in the first two years the replacement is...

    Varg Red Tube

Yesterday, when I was unloading the bike from the trailer after a trackday, I noticed that the valve stem of the front tyre was very crooked, like 45° from the radial direction that it is supposed to be pointing at, and that the tyre had very little pressure. I was able to inflate it and it held...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

I've had a trackday yesterday and I can confirm that it worked properly. When I turn it on I usually see a yellow or sometimes magenta light for maybe a second or two, but then the flashing green light appears. This happened before the update, too, if I recall properly..

    Varg suspension

Would you say that the bearings were well lubed originally?

    Drivetrain getting louder

How many hours does your bike have? Have you noticed any other problems like play in the countershaft or debris in the old oil when changing it? Have you removed the oil filler cap and inspected the gears with a flashlight? Sorry for the many questions but such a problem is serious.

Electric Bikes needed for 'Arctic Sea Ice Monitoring Terminal Deployment' programme.

Hello and welcome. If I have understood correctly, what you have in mind is to find a company which has experience in that kind of expeditions and which can provide you with suitable electric bikes, chargers and whatever you may need to run them on rental; is this correct? Unfortunately I know...

    Varg suspension

I don’t know for sure since I haven’t counted how many clicks I was out, but the default sttings should be the ones that you can find in this thread.

    Varg suspension

Here is my situation: • rider's weight in underwear: 74 kg/163 lbs • suspensions setup: 75/80 kg • use: motocross only At the beginning, the suspensions felt stiff to me in every track. Saturday at the track, at 8 hours circa it seemed to me that maybe they had softened a little bit but still...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

Ok, so I've just updated my bike. I've tested it by spinning the rear wheel with the throttle on the stand in different maps, by charging it some minutes and by testing it again after having turned the phone off and then on (see post #13). I haven't tested race mode and surely I won't do it...

    Drivetrain getting louder

Ok, so I understand it would be better to listen to it but probably it would be little practical, so I guess we have to use a description. Then, how would you describe the noise? Is it just the normal whirring noise but louder? Does it sound like bearings losing preload and shaking?

    Drivetrain getting louder

Do you have a video about that to share? I tried listening to the noise of my Varg while spinning the rear wheel on the stand and it seems to me that most of the noise comes from the chain. Are you sure this is not your case? Is your chain tension correct?

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

As far as I've understood from this post, it happened to someone else, too! From my limited knowledge of electronics, it is possible that a faulty update leads the bike to do something which harms the battery, like for example managing the voltage or the state of charge of the cells in the wrong...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

Well, after having read post #1 I didn't update the firmware to that version and surely I'm not going to do it now that I've read about your problem. Honestly my bike works properly and unless it becomes necessary for some reasons or they release a newer version, I think I shouldn't update...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

So, has anyone tried the Varg updated to this firmware version? Any problems?

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Well, I personally prefer precise specifications, too, but to me it sounds too demanding to expect that a company does something like washing a bike multiple times varying parameters like pressure and distance of the nozzle until damage occurs in order to create those specifications. I can't...

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Actually the water pressure at a depth of 4.5 feet/1.3 m, which would be enough to submerge a Varg, would be only 0.13 atm/2 PSI and that would be the pressure at the lowest point of the bike; the electronics, placed higher, would be exposed to an even smaller pressure. Let's say that due to...
