    Varg - Gear Oil Change

Stark has changed the design of the bolt. It now comes with a 13mm head. If you get a new bolt make sure you ask for the new design or they might send you the old one.

Post here your Stark Varg issues (or not!)

I agree with @F451. I too have had a few frustrating experiences with some of the online staff but most of them are really good in a thankless job. They are sensitive to harsh language for sure. Almost all my interactions have been with email and they have been ok. Over all Stark as has been...

Is it possible to add electrical accessories to a Starg Varg?

My guess is that this isn't a bad design but a funky deliberate one. Stark is sometimes funky in its design decisions. They usually do the right thing or fix things forward but it usually takes a little customer jaw boning. And sometimes these funky decisions seem to unnecessary or don't win...

Is it possible to add electrical accessories to a Starg Varg?

I hope you have an after market skid plate for your Varg in those rock gardens. I have broken some fins off the battery in the gnarl with the stock skid. Just added the AXP skid very happy with it and plan to add some other protections JIC.

MX Gen1 / 2XXX I got it in Feb 2024 it was an early dealer delivery so it was likely an 'A' that didn't deliver on an early deposit pre-order. My bike has been pretty much trouble free. I use my Gen 1 for enduro and it has been dropped a lot so most of the "issues" I have seen are user...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

I don't consider SaaS any different than any other service. Personally location or where usable doesn't matter to me. As long as the service is do no harm and goes away after the term runs out it is all the same to me. No different than a suspension tuner tuning, I don't consider SaaS any...

Ya that the CEO actually rides and can ride the product itself is something else.

I am wondering if it is something in the connection process or initial loading that is causing some batteries to fail "right away". It is very unlikely that these batteries make it out of QC broken in advance. It is costly in many ways if that stuff slides through QC undetected.

Wow. Just Wow. The inner tubes yes they are useless shit. But outside of that my bike has been trouble free. I got it the around same time you got yours. Here in the US East Coast I was able to get mine through the same dealer that sold me my KTM a few years back for around the same price as it...

    battery protection in hard enduro

I just bought the AXP plastic bash guard. Previously used their stuff on my gas bikes and was satisfied. BTW I have already broken some fins off my battery in a rock garden and will also get the Endurohog covers.

    Throttle Stop

I don't think this is all that unusual for early adopters in almost any market. Proper development takes customer feedback from real owners, when it is the first go around the customer base is new and developing so that will take time. Plus, the process of just bringing a new product to market...

Agreed. Also HP=F(d)/t, where F=force, d=distance, t=time supporting your statement of multiple factors.

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

Weight is a general problem with most E-stuff at this point including sources like solar. It is a result of 100 years little development in E tech for today's use cases. Hopefully this will be getting better with a growing market. I struggle with the non solid state stuff and can't wait till...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

Ya I am a little disappointed with the battery tech in this way. I live in a condo (due to divorce) and it is difficult for me to keep my garage(s) above 32F during the winter. Fortunately I can warm it a bit with wall heaters but that has limits and I just got a that last battery warmer like...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

I think a Yam WR450F and Varg EX are probably about the same weight. Maybe the newest WR is 10lb less but I know the 2020 I rode a few weeks ago was around 265 with a tank of gas.

    Outside warranty window

We should be honest with ourselves. Companies/corporations are in business to make money and no matter what the groomed image is it is the same. For example, I love the Japanese motorcycles I have had over the years, but not all their products are winners. And some terrible junk (even deadly...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

No they didn't rule it out. I was just assuming since initial reports were that key parts like the battery were not interchangeable --and there were noted design changes to meet the EX requirements-- that they had not designed in adaptions. But that was an assumption based on initial internet...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Stark should have engineered it to conversion capable. Some folks are not going to be happy when they have to eat a big depreciation on their MX version. Dirtbike market is in freefall.

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

It won't fit according to the reports I have heard. There are EX reviews on youtube. If that is so it is poor planning folks might interested in purchasing 20% more capacity. In a tight market you'd think these Stark guys would be building all the after sale opportunities they could.
