    Stark Varg SM

I would have expected a 150 or 160. At least here in Italy, but I bet in France and in many other countries, too, the vehicle registration certificate lists the allowed tyre sizes and usually there is more than one; hopefully, they allow bigger tyres to be used. They also use a 4.5" rim...

Surron Ultra Bee Broken Frame and Swingarm

Sorry to see that. So is the swingarm made up of steel? Not that I'm suggesting it, but what is your opinion about welding the cracks?

    Varg suspension

I've just found out that now, on Stark's site, there are spare parts for the fork such as a rebuild kit, single components like the dust seal and the oil, too.

    Stark Varg SM

The left axle holder of the fork, that you can see from 9:00, looks pretty special. It doesn't look like there is any pinch bolt or that it's split in any way. It looks like the pinch bolts are only on the other side, that you can see @8:50. I'd like to see more of it.

Stark mobile charger is out !

In the comments of their YouTube video "bending the rules" they have stated that it's compatible with the EX and MX models. Our @Erwin P has asked for confirmation about the compatibility with the MX 1.0 and I think that it is compatible since the part numbers for the chargers of the 1.0 and the...

    Other Bikes Trailblaze Omega

Probably when I explained my point of view on why I find the rear suspension of the Omega peculiar I wasn't very clear. Let me retry. In general, what manufacturers want from the rear wheel is to have a so called progressive behaviour; this means that the more the wheel moves up, the stiffer...

Coolant recommendations for Varg MX 1.0. G1 to G2 cooling conversion kit

@mmalherbe: you can see the kit, first not installed yet and then installed, from 1:10 here:

    Stark Varg SM

I've found a video of a Dutch professional/former professional, Marcel van Drunen, who looks like he has promising results drifting with a rear hand brake. According to the video description, in the video he was just trying a new bike, plus he was also doing it in a not suitable environment...

    Other Bikes Trailblaze Omega

Now I think that I understand better the logic behind their choices about the rear shock: they want to have a frame both for linkage and linkageless setups and therefore the shock is tilted like it is in usual linkageless [corrected by edit] bikes, then progression will probably be achived in...

    Woods riding

I personally don't tipically ride over my head. Sometimes I crash but so far I've never had very serious injuries. I should point out some things to explain my experience and my point of view: First of all, I am a slow rider and overall my experience is something like 200 hours at private tracks...

Coolant recommendations for Varg MX 1.0. G1 to G2 cooling conversion kit

Yes, that's something peculiar of the Varg: in order to remove the plastics you need to remove two of the three bolts that support the subframe. When those two bolts are out I am also careful not to use the handles of the subframe to move the bike since in that condition the subframe is not...

Coolant recommendations for Varg MX 1.0. G1 to G2 cooling conversion kit

Well, what we find in our radiators and what we see in Stark's YouTube videos is a pink/purple coolant. This typically indicates some kind of Organic Acid Technology type of coolant. Unless Stark theirselves tell us what coolant is in there -and maybe their SAM chatbot can help- I think that we...

    e clutches rare bulba

Never tried one and I am not interested in them, but keep in mind that according to Stark's CEO an e clutch will void the warranty (if yours is still valid); here he is stating that @44:18:

    Woods riding

I don't want to offend anybody but the way in which I see woods riding is to run higher risks than motocross for both yourself and your bike, getting more discomfort and less fun. You don't have runoff areas and there are unexpected things like slippery rocks that can destabilize you any moment...

    MXoN

I usually watch race recaps of MXGP and AMA pro and I'd like to chat a little about it here. Not that I want to defend him because of his nationality and the nationality of his Ducati, but Cairoli, who qualified 8th in front of Tomac, broke his right hand when someone landed onto him in the...

Anyone making stronger motor covers yet? Cracked my stock one

I agree. The same thing has been said about the footpegs that some poeple have broken: be careful installing sturdier ones or the side plate may be damaged instead of the pegs. I've also seen similar things with street bikes or supermotos: people install frame sliders that protrude from the...

Canard to race Honda CR Electric in Japan

That's interesting, but consider that some years ago the news said that Kawasaki announced at least 10 EVs and hybrid models by 2025 and instead what we have now are 1 EV in its faired and naked variant and the same holds true for their hybrids: Kawasaki Motorcycles to be all electric by 2035...
