€50 million investment in Stark Future by Royal Enfield parent company

Stark must be a motor company! He also thinks it has a hydraulic clutch, but he didn't notice that there was no foot brake. Even with 2 batteries, it will probably only have approximately 100 miles range. But it probably will have an on-board charger with capability to charge at EV charge stations.

Newbie SV MX owner here! 🙋‍♂️

It's actually the best support system ever. You have a 2 year warranty, and access to factory engineers for trouble shooting. They ship you new parts when appropriate. It may take a couple days sometimes, but unless you have a dealer 5 minutes from home, it's much more convenient. Congrats on...

Newbie SV MX owner here! 🙋‍♂️

Email support via their website with your VIN, I am guessing the ownership needs to be transferred to you. They respond in a business day or less, all communication I have had with Stark is via email, but always satisfactory.

Check your Stark Varg charger plug

I think the problem has been resolved on new bikes: Stark is now shipping with molded plugs.

Displaying GPS/Trail/Mapping app on Stark phone while riding

It already does record a gps "track" of your ride, but it doesn't do anything to "guide" you as you could do with a gps trail app. Not sure what they have planned for trail mode, but I don't expect it to have trail maps like a gps app can.

Displaying GPS/Trail/Mapping app on Stark phone while riding

Locking the phone in portrait mode might keep the battery percentage on the screen. I will try it at next opportunity.

Thanks! That’s definitely worth a try, and has obvious benefits.

    Phone Screen Replacement

I have a screen protector on mine, but it cracked anyway, looks like there was an impact right at the edge of it. There are screen protectors available, it is a Blackview BV6300 Pro.

    Phone Screen Replacement

Mine is cracked, so I ordered a replacement and some glue (Relife CP-0002). I'm not going to replace it until I decide it's necessary. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806381477771.html https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803113443018.html

Moving Varg charger to different case

I originally had mine in a Harbor Freight 3800 case because I could store all the cables inside, however, I found that after charging I rarely took the time to return the cables to inside the case. So I switched to a smaller 2800 case, and just keep the cables wrapped up (but the 120v adapter...

Moving Varg charger to different case

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the charger is waterproof, at least to some IP?? level

    Varg Phone is Garbage

Got my bike at the beginning of May and I have had absolutely ZERO problems with it (except very minor phone connection issues usually solved by blanking and unblanking the screen). I know this has not been everyone's experience, but I am super happy with mine, and I have not ridden my 300 since...

    Stark Inverter Question

As I understand, I'm sure someone with more knowledge will correct me or add more info: The battery storage is DC, but the motor is AC, probably 3 phase? So, at the simplest level, the inverter converts the DC power to AC for the motor.

Displaying GPS/Trail/Mapping app on Stark phone while riding

Well done @Chadx finding the "display over other apps" setting! I turned that off, and did a brief test, and this is the best solution since I no longer have to stop the Stark app. Regarding the screen going blank on the GPS app, I use the free Polaris ride command GPS app, which has a setting...

Displaying GPS/Trail/Mapping app on Stark phone while riding

I edited my post #10 to add this: BTW, I never turned off bluetooth. So we are getting different results, and I still think the most likely explanation is that for some reason your Stark app is not getting completely stopped. I have an iPhone, so not a expert android user, but I suggest you...

Displaying GPS/Trail/Mapping app on Stark phone while riding

Thanks for testing and replying with results. Last time I tried this, the Stark app was not triggered by changing maps, but I think the app was updated at least once since then. I would suggest turning off bluetooth on the phone to prevent the Stark app from being triggered. OK, in the middle...

Displaying GPS/Trail/Mapping app on Stark phone while riding

This works, if you touch the square button, then fling the Stark app upward to force stop it, you can then use your navigation app to your heart's content without it being interrupted. Stark recommends against doing this, because it will prevent warnings like overheating, etc.
