Well, we will know in about 3 months :ROFLMAO:

    Varg production numbers / VIN

Makes sense for Germany. Very strickt rules on offroading, but quite a lott of ground. Not being heard is pretty much necessary. Also the A1 crowd wich incluides 16 year olds and car drivers with some MC lessons love them. In the Netherlands they sold just 63. They also make little sense here...

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

For comparison. We have 12 Zero ''dealers'' (of wich 8 only X-Line dealers and i know 3 of those don't have Zero's at the shop) in the Netherlands vs 5 for Stark. However all those 5 Stark dealers have Starks in the shop. That makes them roughly the same size in dealer pressence. For...

Well he does motocross, amongst many many many other things :ROFLMAO:

I don't know if the Teddy thing worked out though. Pastrana owning one and loving it also seems to be a big deal.

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

If you look at the target audience for Stark: MX/Enduro/SM riders. I'd be surprised if not at least 90% knows the bikes. Target audience for Zero/Energica: Streetriders, who mostly ask the question: What the hell is a Zero/Energica?

    Stark actually profitable... kinda

Energica was doing it though. It was greedy investors not following their promises that drove that to the ground. Don't forget Stark has many times more volume than Energica ever had. And one thing Stark does really well and Zero and Energica didn't. Marketing. Stark is in everyones face with...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

No, but i'm afraid i'm misunderstood. Holding a low voltage - high amps battery doesn't do anything (living proof sits over here). Holding a high voltage will kill you. I mean to say that the max output amps of a battery mean nothing when talking dangers to a human. Battery's of low voltage...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

But for the same reason you're Stark isn't loosing 59kW at standstill and it not being on fire there won't be such a current through the human body. Even a lower one for 90V. The Stark is killing, but 90V would need very specific conditions to do so. Soaked, rubbed of skin etc. If we are looking...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

No the higher voltage up to some point is more killing. As soon as you get past a certain treshhold the amount of voltage hardly matters anymore until you get into arc flash territory. You seem to miss the point of the human body being a resistor. The current a battery can deliver is not perse...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

Not entirely true. Sure it's the Amps that kill you, but the Voltage is the enabler. I (amps) = U (voltage)/R (ohm). A human with a dry skin has about 100K - 1000K ohm resistance. That makes for 90/100.000 = 0.0009 A dragging you well into the ''safe zone'' of your graph. Again not entirely...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

This taken from their website is pretty clear about the ''core'' battery being the standard, otherwise there would have been a ''weight savings'' behind the ''core'' as well. Also them mentioning that being optional made me think about the 5.6 being standard. I just took the 7kg (15lbs, not 17)...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

Well at least they're working prototypes. So 7/10 maybe? But i have a hard time imagening them being cheaper than the Stark. Almost everything is build to spec on those bikes. The suspension for example (although maybe good, i don't know), is made by a small novel company. They can never...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

Logic like that has nothing to do with selling the most powerfull dirtbike in the world. We as enthusiast are a tiny group of the market. Most people don't really understand efficiency etc. They just see the big numbers, and you do want to sell to most people. - I'm curious about how usefull...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

Nobody really needs that, but hell, why not?! I also think Stark will go and protect their ''most powerfull dirtbike'' claim. So don't be surpriced to see a 90HP MX 1.3 or 2.0 :ROFLMAO:

    Stark Battery Tech Thread

There have been quite some novel engine designs being pulled out of history to power drones. A lott of engine types have many pro's like good fuel economy, near perfect balance, lightweight, few moving parts, very cheap etc etc. Almost all suffer from longevity issues. But when the object you're...

True, but the time and proof of concept that propelled ASMR was done by a small group of people. Only after that scale hit. They had the "luck" to get huge investors behind them. It was a startup that got supplied the big R&D money by companies like Intel, not those companies, that got the chip...

    Stark Battery Tech Thread

Mass in anything brings mass inertia. Big companies have the mass to invest, but have struggle to get things done fast. Small companies are often way more capable of getting stuff done, but lack the capability to scale up. Also 1 poor decision can run such company to the ground. That's why...

Other Bikes about helmets standards, lifespans and how they are sold

I have that helmet (multiple) and am very pleased with it. The MIPS like system works really well. However i spend just under 200 euro for it on 24MX. Not in those fancy colours though.
