Indeed i don't trust them one bit. In MX it should be fine. Here in Enduro i'm very happy with my plastic wraparounds. I've seen many bent handlebars from people riding with metal wraparounds. Mine have twisted and turned all over the place, but my handlebar is still OEM bent.

I've ridden the bike over the past days in Hard Enduro next to ICE bikes and to be honest both, when executed well, have their own advantages. Sometimes the clutch, limited gears and flywheel of the 300's offer better traction. Sometimes the Stark does. The reverse and crawl mode are game...

We're now in a big Enduro terrain and a few people rode my Stark. It's really cool how well it's received.

Each 1K is roughly 10 km/h. I started at 5K dropping. But was too slow on the long climbs. This works perfect on the white hill in the distance:

It should be Polisport Bullit FWA. As of today i managed to tear out the screw in the middle. However i threw it of a cliff so no blame there.

Not an absolute perfect fit, but well enough. The Polisport ones. They are wrap around plastics and i have proven this week they work extremely well in the gnarly stuff. Will make a proper detail photo today. But they are on this picture on the Stark:

I live in the Netherlands so pretty close to the north sea. It's allready fixed but forgot to put it here. The connectors to the charger unit got a bit loose do they were not always having proper contact. I clamped those a bit and fine since then. Really cheap build quality as well.

At steep hillclimbs where ground speed does not exceed 50-60km/h. At some point the rear wheel looses tracktion due to it slipping or jumping. Then the wheel will spin up to too high speeds. At an ICE the rev limiter of that gear will keep it in check. On the Stark it will rev to the moon. That...

I've made a map that could explain the above. It cuts power to 10hp after a certain speed, thus not having the rear wheel spinning away and keeping on the edge of traction.

I've noticed improvement in traction on most of the early MX updates. Also noticeable more range. My "traction control" map is doing great. I think i will make 2 of those. One for slower climbs and one for longer steeper ones.

I have made this little map for hillclimbs. Functions like some kind of traction control uphill. When you jump the rear wheel doesn't spin up to the moon so upon landing much more grip. Same for breaking grip when heavy on the throttle uphill. Based on the normal 35hp map.

The gap new is 1000. Later upgrade is 1300. You see that often with all brands that upgrades from the factory are cheaper than later added. Makes sense to trigger a "buy now" reflex at the first sale.

KTM discs fit on the MX1.0. so i would assume on all Starks.

Solid review (y) I think an Electric 690 rival would be great. Varg with a double battery and some comfort options and a DC charger should weigh about the same as a 690. Now that would be a dyke/canyon weapon without compromise.
