    HANDGUARDS

I was considering bark busters for mine. But wasn't sure how to modify the bar ends to put in the tip bolts. I put them on my Alta, so I would assume it's nearly the same. Haven't had the gumption to go tearing into the new bike (Stark) just yet. I do like the idea of the Enduro guards, even if...

    Phone Screen Repair

Nice! I've attempted to do screens on phones before, but haven't been successful. I'm glad to see this one is pretty straight forward to fix.

    General Rawrr Mantis

I have a Surron Light Bee X in addition to my Stark and Alta. The little ebikes are fun enough (although the quality you kind of have to learn to ignore, unless it's the only one you've ever had). They're great for practicing lots of things related to the bigger bikes (wheelis, stoppies, pivot...

varg charger keeps showing a blue light after plugging it in, and the phone also shows that the bike is charging. But actually there is no charge

Did you also try different outlets? I mean, not trying to sound offensive, but mine has wrapped me up a couple of times with something as silly as the wrong settings or the breaker popped and it just sits there. No fans, no nothing. Says charging on the screen. I love that this bike gives you...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

True. I'm not against swappable. But it does introduce the possibility of errors. There are always tradeoffs. But you also never know if some new tech might come out and flip everything on its head.

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

This is a race team, not so guy in a garage. There's a pretty big reason why manufacturers like Alta and Stark went with fixed batteries instead of swappable types. Namely for durability reasons, but liability as well. You're not out jumping triples on a Surron (or at least not for very many...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but the range isn't going to be very significant. Now, maybe it goes from about 30 miles to 40 miles of offroad (and that's a pretty tall maybe), which, of course there's no gripe in more range. But I wouldn't exactly go selling the farm to switch to one of...

varg charger keeps showing a blue light after plugging it in, and the phone also shows that the bike is charging. But actually there is no charge

This is going to sound dumb, but do you have your sliders turned down below the level of your battery? For instance, if your SOC is 70% but you have max charge set up 50%, it'll give you all of the indications that it's supposed be charging, but no draw and solid lights, and the display saying...

DMV sent me notification I need insurance on the SV, WTF???

Could be DMV put it in the system as motorcycle which is what you need to plate it. If they put it in as dirt bike, then it shouldn't come up in the system as needing insurance.

    Cracked LCD fixed

The general idea with soldering is you can apply heat from two sides of necessary, but you're not supposed to use solder on both (you get voids that way). Usually, if you put on enough flux, it's enough to get the heat transfer and the solder will wick through both sides. I personally don't...

Varg turns on in Neutral, cannot select mode

Mine was showing neutral on the screen and no speedo, but was fully rideable....weird. None of the up/down buttons made a difference. It was like the display was frozen. I power cycled it later and it went back to working like normal.

    Cracked LCD fixed

In advance, this is a long post (my apologies!) But I wanted to be thorough. After reading through some other posts on the topic of repairing Alta display screens, I got all the stuff to perform the fix on mine, and was pretty successful. Huge thanks to the direction of Philmore! But because...

Stark Varg foot legs are no joke!

Why not just file them down a bit? I'm not mad about the pegs. I was just pointing out that if you get a Stark, just be mindful (or go ahead and file them down, like I mentioned). They're really really good pegs! I love them

Electric Cycle Rider Full Size E Dirtbike Shootout - Artic Leopard vs Stark vs Alta vs E&C

. I would say that yes, while they're starting to become available, they're not in our products (motorcycles) yet, so my prediction is it'll take about 10 years for that to happen. I also don't see it as a big weight savings, but rather, you would get more range. No matter how you slice it...

Stark Varg foot or hand brake?

I got the hand brake on my Stark. I instantly fell in love with it. I thought the same thing that I would be all out of place going between clutch and non clutch, foot brake and hand brake. But it's super intuitive. After riding multiple bikes (KTM 500, Husky TX300, 350FX, 501, CRF250F, Sur...

Electric Cycle Rider Full Size E Dirtbike Shootout - Artic Leopard vs Stark vs Alta vs E&C

I can agree with a bigger battery. My Alta EXR was at 273lbs (I think?) in stock configuration. This included the lights, mirrors, kick stand, horn, and wiring harness. I take that thing just about everywhere and the weight doesn't bother me much. If I had an Enduro model that either just had...

Stark Varg foot legs are no joke!

So, I got the side of my leg caught on the right peg of my Stark today and didn't think much of it (little pinch/scrape) which isn't too far out of the ordinary. One of my buddies noticed a spot of blood on the side of my bike so reluctantly, decided to check and see how bad it was. Yowza!!! It...
