Yes, any time the key is in the on position and during charging the pump will run.

I heard it faintly on a test ride and when i got it indoors it was more pronounced. Just making sure it wasn’t something that’s supposed to prime real quick and shut off. I’m no technician though, just paranoid. Hahaha

If it starts to sound louder, check the coolant level.

has anyone that races these things all 3 of you tried packing ice around the battery to speed charging cycles? LOL

I tried spraying the battery with a mist sprayer. I think it helped, but I cannot quantify it.
