CR-E “250” Project

What do you like better about the Stark? Range?
Range really isn’t much more. I run a dual battery setup on my CRF 72v 80ah

To be honest, and frank, everything about the stark is better. It’s an amazing bike. It does weigh almost 30lbs more than my conversion but it can’t be felt riding it, however the weight is there, and there’s no denying that.

Aside from electric if they were both ICE, the stark would be better. They really nailed the chassis, suspension is awesome right out of the box…literally….ergonomics are dialed. It’s an excellent bike.

Now….is the Stark $8000 more bike…..man that’s hard, these are hobbies and to me I can’t place a dollar amount on enjoyment. But with both bikes in the garage I know which one I’m picking to roe each and every time.

I’ve got a 1.5 hour XC race tomorrow…the crf-e will stay in the garage on the stand at storage charge level.

Same question, what do you think pro’s and con’s are of each. Seems like you go to bike is the Stark.
As posted above. The Stark is so well put together it’s hard not to love.

I’m not at all dogging the conversions….my CRF-E is dialed, works awesome, plenty of power, suspension, and to me looks as good as anything out there. But the Stark is just an awesome machine all around.

Thanks for sharing your experience and nice stable of bikes you have.
Thanks. I’ve still got my ICE bikes too lol

2x Built up CRF110s for pit bike racing and getting around the pits at events, and my CRF450RL for adventure riding, moto camping, and any ride over 40 miles. Things would have to progress a lot for me to give up my 450RL
