custom power curves for 1.0

I have contacted Stark for the possible release of custom power curves for the 1.0. I was told that they are woking on it but no release date. I would ask all 1.0 owners who would like a custom power curve to contact customer service and express your interest.

I don't believe it is much of a priority with the 1.2 release

and, as you can read in the latest posts from December, Stark said that they intended to release the update within January.

I have emailed them this January and they said no release date. I saw the previous thread but there was no call to arms

Thanks for contacting Stark, this is Josh and I'd be happy to help with this. We plan to release an app update that will bring the EX and MX 1.2 advanced power-mode features, including custom power maps, to the Stark VARG MX 1.0. On EX and MX 1.2 these Advanced Power Modes (custom power curves) are provided in the app and require a PRO subscription; the MX 1.0 app will be adapted to support the same functionality. We do not have a confirmed release date yet. Please keep your Stark Phone and Stark App up to date; the feature will be delivered via app update/OTA when released.

I think the reason there is no "call to arms" is because there is not all that much enthusiasm for the PRO subscription at least among the 1.0 users I know.

I also don't want to pay for the pro subscription. The other question I asked Stark was whether I could creat a custom map save it and then cancel the subscription. Their response is that they did not know the answer - including for the 1.2. If that is allowed, I am very interested in a custom map that would allow me to create some throttle play in the begginging. And I don't know why everyone wouldn't like to have the option regardless.

On the EX it works. When your subscription runs out, the currently selected power mode (basic or advanced) will stay active. Obviously you can't modify your power curves any more, but as long as you don't save a basic power mode your previously designed advanced power curves will be used.

To be honest, I don't think anyone even really cares that much about the custom power curves. I might be wrong but most people I know that have used them have just gone back to the default ones anyway.
I'd rather they work on traction control, rather than being able to adjust the power curve. Then you'll be able to put down the maximum amount of power that traction allows.
