I am willing to believe it can pull a 100 hp. But with experience from 80 hp we know it will overheat fast and will surge in power as well.

Be gentle to your batteries.
The specified max. discharge current per cell is 45A.
As the configuration is 100s4p there are always four batteries in parallel in 100 in series.
4 parallel cells make 180A max discharge current.
The impedance of one cell, including connections and wires, is about 0,008 Ohm. -> Four parallel cells have 0,002 Ohm.
The voltagedrop under full load is about U = R x I = 0,002 * 180A ~ 0,36V per "4 CELL parallel"
for 100 cells its ~ 40V.
Full batteries 420V - 40V drop ~ 380V DC BUS voltage
And with about 380V , under full load condition,
there is a possible maximal electrical power of P = U x I = 380V x 180A ~ 68kW or 93HP that can be drawn
from the tank within the technical spec. of the cells.

put some electrical losses into...
95% of the inverter x 90% of the motor ~ 0,85
Max. mech. power at the motorshaft 68kW x 0,85 ~ 58kW or 80HP.

And that is what we have - a system which is on the limit already.
Pulling more will kill the battery - soon or later.
Thermal problems, magnetic saturation in the motor, MOS-FET fireworks, blowing fuses - all included for free

the numbers may vary by a few percent up and down - depending on the point of view
and if a bag of rice has tilted in china.

And YES - it is very likely possible to squeeze a +100HP out of the system.

Thanks very much for sharing that.

Max discharge current value of 45 A is the spec for Molicel P45B used in the MX pack.

There is no official word on cells used in EX/MX1.2 packs but for instance Molicel P50B max discharge current is 60 A so theoretically that could be max power about 100 hp for those?

P60B has a max discharge current of 90 A so in the same configuration we would be looking at 150 hp 😱

I hadn't thought that with newer cells we would not only benefit from more range and faster charge but also more power (as long as the motor and electronics can handle it).

Rode the bike yesterday and today while using the app. For some reason I now get a pairing message every 30 seconds. It wasn't doing before. Yesterday, it eventually stopped communicating, but then I noticed my headlight wasn't on, which usually means the VCU is glitching. After turning it off and back on, that started working again. This morning it didn't stop communicating, but kept getting the message over and over.

Got the phone holder all worked out, works great!

What do you mean by the pairing message, is that the system prompt or you mean the syncing/connecting splash screen in the app?

it was an OS message overlay, saying the bike was requesting pairing. I went to take a screenshot of it, but my phone had forgot/erased the bike, it seems. I reentered the PIN and now it is working fine.
