The rider races pro and the shaft bent when he cased a tabletop. The sprocket is visibly bent. I suspect that put a slight wobble in the large gear which over time took out both gears.

I'll know more when I tear it apart. This bike has been ridden hard it's entire life. 1650 race miles.

Well the bike has been back together and working fine in regards to the output shaft replacement. I rode the bike once on a local turn track and all was well. Unfortunately i was met with a glowing orange light while charging the bike up to go to the track the next day.... looks like I've joined the code 36 club :(. I decided to drain the battery back down to half and leave it there until repair. Thankfully i live pretty close to the west coast repair man, just need to find a timeslot in his schedule 😉
