So I've been told that my range should be better than it is and I should open a case with Stark but also someone recommended this app "SVAG app" that there is some thread on here regarding that though I can't locate it.
Anyhow, so far on my '25 MX v1.2 I'm only getting about 22-27miles per charge and I'm no Taddy Blasusiak..

Here's an example of that I've done so far on this thing........

If you have an iPhone see Post #24 in this thread:
If you have an android, keep looking through that thread to find the info for android.
Keep in mind that you should turn off your Stark phone before you try to connect the SVAG app, because the bike will only connect to one phone at a time.

At the upper end 27 miles (43km) does seem very low, but within spec...

I'll be honest though, I work to time not distance, and getting between 3-4 hours out of a charge.

Time means little to me b/c you could ride super slow or be in crazy gnar for hours and use little power. Me, I like to push fast and as hard as possible to cover as much ground as possible. That last ride just happened to be so muddy it was near impossible to go much faster....

Time means everything to an enduro/MX. That's why servicing and rebuilds are timed.
If you ride slowly, you get more time.
If your deep in the gnar then you get less time.
If you pin it everywhere on loose ground, less time.
It's a big reason Stark are quite cagey about how far you can travel, but talk instead about seat time.

Stark has flaws for sure but they have given way more information about range than any OEM ever did with their range videos.

You have the short edited version, the longer onboard raw vids, you can see exactly what kind of riding is done, total time, average speed, distance for usually 3 different kind of riders.
Much much better info than SAE range on a spec sheet.

For instance here is the enduro vid for Varg 6.5 kWh but there are plenty of others (MX 1.2, EX, hard enduro, SM...)

Yea I've seen those vids above, was still hoping I'd see closer to 40 miles from a full charge for most of the rides I do. Folks here and on FB seem to be all over the place on what's possible and unfortunately with electric bikes there are way to many factors that severely reduce the range from a charge. ICE bikes are not nearly so finiky, they really need to find battery tech that can solve this issue, once they do ICE bikes will die but I have a feeling I won't see that in my lifetime............

Well that depends, tell us more about yourself, how old are you, do you have a healthy diet, regular physical exercise, prior heart disease in the family, alcohol and cigarettes consumption? 🤣

Honestly the tech should really improve in the next 10 years, we're at the end of a cycle, new one about to start with a lot of materials and manufacturing getting close to mass production. Not just "solid-state-will-be-ready-in-10-years" anthem.

EV already took over a bunch of countries, Chinese and European markets transition will accelerate, there's huge competition right now to stay at the top and most tech improvements will benefit motorcycles as well (a trickle down effect, if you will).

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm 51 and I suspect 10 more good yrs of riding in me but I'd love for better battery tech faster so I can enjoy it before age takes me out.
