New software update firmware 1.0.185 (416) 2/8/2025

Just received a new update on a Varg today. It said it had improvements. I can’t see anything different.
any one knows varg firmware 1.0.185 (416) release notes?

Usually you can ask SAM for the changes but in this case being the weekend changes may not be seen until business day?

1. Regen Strategy: The regen strategy has been updated to allow consistent behavior over all states of charge (SOC) and provide a smooth progressive response in speed.
2. Crawl Mode: A modification in the throttle response was applied to ensure a smooth start.

VERSION 1.0.157 (2024-07-15)​

1. Change in Control Strategy: A new control strategy has been implemented, gaining more range.
2. Crawl Mode: Enabling a speed control (up to 6 km/h) in forward or reverse, by pressing UP (forward) or DOWN (backward) buttons for more than 500ms from neutral or engaged, pressing the other button to go back to engage. The conditions to enable crawl mode are: Speed <=1km/h and throttle = 0.
3. Buttons Logic: Changes have been made to support the logic to enable Crawl mode:
   • Maps changes when speed is <= 1Km/h are activated on release.
   • Maps changes when speed is above 1Km/h are as usual on press.
4. Incrementing Max Current: The maximum allowed current of the inverter was increased.
5. Charger Ramping UP: A ramping up strategy is implemented for setting the charge current, starting with 2A for 2 seconds and then increasing to the maximum configured current linearly in 16s.
6. Charge to SoC: It’s possible to configure the bike to charge to a maximum SoC.
7. Speed Limits on the Maps: Each map can be configured with a speed limitation.
8. Throttle Errors in Mapswitch: When the bike cannot engage due to a problem with the throttle, the mapswitch will show RED in specific cases.
9. Turning OFF Color: The RED light when turning off the bike was removed.
10. Maps Structure Change: The map memory structure changed, so the VCU will not be able to interpret the old saved maps. New maps will be set to default to 40HP in all modes.

It’s actually 1.0.218, and this push was a longer update so be patient and let it finish. I have not seen any adjustments for change log as of yet.

Hello,

I recently got a new unit, but I’m experiencing an issue when trying to open the app for the first time. Upon launching, a “Check Update” button appears. However, when I click it, I’m redirected to Google Play, where I receive an “Item Not Found” message.

I have a SIM card inserted, a stable internet connection, and my phone’s operating system and Google Play app are both up to date.

Please assist me in resolving this issue.

Yes, they responded, but unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved.

Make sure bluetooth and wifi are turned on in the phone.
You have to have a google account for the play store.
Have you tried to go to google play store, look for the Varg app, and update?
If this doesn't help, delete the Varg app, reboot the phone, and re-install the Varg app from google play.

1.0.185 is the app version.
1.0.218 is the bike firmware version.
We had a very nice weather day today in Ohio.
First time I had my Varg out in a while, updated, and rode some around my property.
Seems much easier to wheelie, anyone else notice this?
