Yes. The regen is much more noticable on EXR. Also the EXR had dangerously soft suspension for what I use it for. And one other thing Ive noticed is the EXR steering is much heavier for some reason. But that seems to be a setup issue, because with the borrowed MXTech stuff on it now, the steering is effortless.
Powerwise I cant tell a bit of difference. I think the gain in HP/torque of the R was negated by the taller gearing than the MX has.
