hello, im currently building a 2010 steel frame ktm sxf 450 into electric, i first went with the QS138 90h v1 motor but mounting it into the bike seems to be a little harder than i expected, upon viewing a thread on a similar bike ive noticed the qs138 70h v3 looks easier to mount due to online mountings available, what seems to be the max kind of kw people have pushed out of the qs138 70h v3 at 72v just to add i have a VOTOL EM200/2 72700 controller does any 1 know whats the max Amps for continuous power and Amps for bursts, Very new to this electric and only built a few 1500/3000w hub ebikes so slightly limited on info although i have owned stark vargs sur rons etc.

thanks in advance.

conservatively max settings to run the QS138 70H v3 at is:
on 72V:
350 battery amps
1000 phase amps
35kw
70% field weakening

It can handle a little more, but anything higher will lead to overheating faster.
The settings above are ridable for me on the MX track all day with no heat issues.
*I have no Votol Controller tho so I have no idea if your controller can handle that settings.
*also your battery should be capable of delivering 450Amps or more to be on the safe side, not stressing your battery too much when going full power.
as you always want your battery to be overpowered for your build so you dont run into heat issues with your battery.
