SX500 Upgrade to Honda look alike

So I found this rusted Razor SX500 sitting on the curb in the neighborhood. I picked it up and said what can I do with this??? much to my wife's chagrin. You can see the rusted spokes on this thing, everything exposed was rusted. So I replaced everything that rusted ( new spokes for the wheels and hardware $50) and put a bigger motor and controller in it. 3000W 72V Amazon upgrade ($250) I had a 72V 10AH battery to put into it. I got it running pretty good, so I rearranged stuff on it and put in a 20S6P Molicel P45B celled battery. The controller is above the new battery. The original owner had only ridden this bike a few times as it was all stock with the original dead batteries, so anything none rustable was in good shape. So I played with this for a while it was so fun just to putt around on. At the Pala AMA race in May/Jun 2025, my friend came out and rode my KTM electric and his 5 Year old rode this little upgraded SX500 and they both loved them. His 5 year old has been riding his Stacyc for over a year. They can only ride quiet bikes in their neighborhood. So Dad commissioned me to build him an electric bike. (4 months later I give dad his bike Don's lightweight conversions )
So now it's Nov, and he rides the Honda electric, and his son rips up the desert on the SX500. So he says I want to buy the SX500 and clean it up for a Christmas gift for his son.
So I buy a bunch of parts from SKWATT.com and other places, and it is ready for Christmas. New front forks, upgraded brakes, upgraded 10" wheels, bigger chain and sprockets, Honda CRF50 Plastics and a few other odds and ends and we have a new toy for the 5 year old. With plenty of up side. It can do almost 50mph ( Mode 3 for future use) and 12' and 14" wheels when he grows into it. Here are some pics. I hope he enjoys his new Christmas motorcycle, I sure have had fun on it thru the year. The total cost for just the parts is about $2100 ( the original bike was free)
