Here are some pictures of my skid/slide plate from SX Slideplates. My initial install impressions are very good. It fit up nicely and has excellent coverage even protecting the linkage. The plate is made of thick plastic, it looks like it will slide over obstacles better than a typical aluminum plate, which is what I’m familiar with. This plate is still not listed on the website that I’ve seen at the time of this post, so you would need to contact them directly to order one.49F71CA1-CB65-40CC-A219-F8D7DAE5609C.jpegB0991835-B902-4536-A708-2C4E4C52C8C7.jpeg0C6746E2-4551-4C83-AAA0-C03AD183C76A.jpegD6B2EBD3-6DBF-44D7-B27B-8E4EB920F1FB.jpeg0B8E80B9-5CF5-4495-9CB6-1FC9D737598A.jpegFFEC9583-6E05-4D14-8524-5802B84D21AB.jpeg27A9D677-5614-489D-BF5D-AEE0D1027F64.jpeg88EE097D-173D-4DB2-B20C-E8405979CF1A.jpeg

Philip, didn't you have one on your MX? If you did, than transfer it to the MXR (if you ask me, I would replace your MX plastics with the MXR as well. Looks great).

I bought my SXS skid plate a month ago from Elite Motorsports, but I haven't installed it yet. It was sitting and waiting for me in Michigan.

As a follow up on this skid plate I must say I love the fact that it covers the linkage as well. My last ride was in a tacky muddy situation and that usually requires concentrated pressure washing to get it all out of the linkage, which you always run the risk of forcing water into those linkage bearings. With this plate no worries, pressure wash away.

I would like to replace my stock skid plate with this one. Does anybody have one for sale? I like the additional wrap around protection on the sides.

Thanks for the info. I searched their site twice before but could not find it. Here is the link:
ALTA full plate | SX Slide Plates

I noticed that when I ordered mine. They don't show it anywhere in the five page listing of "Full Plates". You need to go to the "ALTA" Product Category. ??? I lucked into finding it on my second or third attempt at the website.
