SXS Skidplate/Slideplate

How does this compare to stock? Trying decided between the SXS and OEM for my MXRs.

Significantly more protection than the OEM plate. Protects the shock linkage and much higher up the front of the bike.

Thanks—new to the skidplate game (mostly ride moto, but want to do whatever to protect the battery…). Sounds like SXS is the way to go.

Skid plate for us was more of a must for putting the bike on a stand. The frame rails are wider than most mx bikes.
And the less mud on the battery was a huge plus.
