I agree with @brongle here.
Downloading data does require the bike to be in a certain mode. A human helping and describing the issue is a big plus as well.

We actually don't know their stance on these kind of apps. Only lead we have is the E clutch voiding the warranty, wich i think is understandable since it writes to the bike and is not tested by them.
It's just that nobody really wants to find out.

So far they have been good on me regarding warranty.
Lets also remember we are dealing with a very small very fast growing company here. From a couple of dozen to 400 employees in about 3 years doesn't give for the most experienced crew. I work in a factory as Proces Operator and our internal learning program takes about 4 years. Just to give you a sense of scale of schooling they have to get to their crew.

Well there's no direct connection between throttle and VCU anymore, it goes through clutch CU where it's modified (combined to clutch input with clutch algorithm) before going to VCU.

So now the information fed to the VCU is not purely throttle input as intended by Stark. So ok, not bypassing, it's modifying input before going to VCU, I guess that's what could void the warranty.

yes and I find it more than understandable: Imagine what a car manufacturer or any bike company would say if you plug something between their electronic and their electric throttle.

I guess the clutch unit could and should work without issue, but it could always contain a fault wich Stark won't be happy of in a warranty case. I don't like it, but i do understand/respect it.

Yea i'd say intercepting is more accurate than bypass or piggybacking, but its also modifying the signal before sending it further.

The clutch unit intercepts the throttle signal, combines it with the clutch input, and then sends a modified signal to the VCU.

To get back ontopic @brongle . Could you place the tightening toques in the not connected to the bike part? That way i can always look it up and don't need to connect to the bike.

Really a great app and a very good one for checking the battery status.

I am still missing a rpm display of the motor in the dashboard, or have I overlooked it so far?
Rpm would be a great help to better configure the advanced mapping to see exactly which rpm range you are in.

Also good to check exactly in which rpm range the EX is whining compared to the quieter MX.

What is the current software version, mine says 1.5.1 (111)

SVAG for the win Broke my Arkenstone and ordered a new one right away. A week later and the status of the order was still "being prepared". I was lucky that I had set my charging preferences to 100% before the incident so I could have guessed that after charging the bike would be full - could have been otherwise as well, but no way to determine without the Arkenstone. Downloaded SVAG and my riding trip was saved - Brongle I owe you!

After wasting 300€ I'm pretty sure the Arkenstone, which is one of my biggest points of criticism on the Varg anyway, will not go on the bike anymore. So is there a way for SVAG to determine if the basic or advanced power modes are active? In that case I would cancel my subscription and see if without contact to the Arkenstone the Varg will reset power modes once the subscription expires. Background being that I haven't been able to find a basic power setting that will fit me as well as the advanced one I've come up with, but while I'd be willing to pay for the advanced feature once paying for it every month with the subscription is just ridiculous.

I have the Gen 1.0, but when riding Hard Enduro i lash 2 zipties around it. Not that i ever lost it, but i don't plan on doing so either!

Nope, wasn't so lucky. Bike rolling backwards into some bushes ... screen not cracked, but broken anyway.
