Lithium batteries don't like to be under freezing, especially regarding charging, but as long as the batteries are above freezing once you start moving, they should warm up more with use and all should be just fine...

I have a brace 3d printing to test fit so I can make some simple machined aluminum bolt on braces for this area, should be sweet! Bolts to the 14mm linkage bolt for it's main strength. I'll snap a picture of the 3d printed part once it's done, if it fits..

Totally get ya!! For me I want to put on a normal crossbar pad, and the flashing light kinda bugs me haha.

Hardest part was getting the wires positioned, so they clear everything behind the plate when turning!
