Another anti-electric victim of electric fever.

I had a long time rider/enduro friend take mine out while in Highland Park, GA last year. He can back over an hour later after riding flowing trails to tight single track. He was grinning from ear to ear. He stated " This was the most fun I have EVER had on any type of motorcycle."

Show the world how you are properly practicing social distancing

Stayed at Windrock, TN and rode the singletrack as much as we could. In four days we saw only one other biker in the woods. The fog/mist/clouds were so thick it was difficult to pick your path on the faster trails. Single track was much better.

Rear brake master cylinder mount. Has it been broken?

I made up a couple braces for my two EXRs from 7075. I did it old school by machining in two pieces then TIGing them together. This will make the factory master cylinder bracket super strong and will prevent bending and possible breakage of the brake pedal attachment. I will be doing a test...

Rear brake master cylinder mount. Has it been broken?

If it were not for the fact I am leaving for Georgia to ride the EXR before you get your machines freed up, I would be down for two. Thanks again for spotting the problem and finding a solution. This, once again, shows that everyone's observations, input, and creative solutions are important...

Rear brake master cylinder mount. Has it been broken?

I really had never heard of this being a problem nor thought it was. After this picture of your prototype I went down to look at my two EXRs and guess what? One of the two had the bottom bracket bent. I guess I have a project to machine tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.

2019 EXR Ride Pics (Central Nevada)

Just wanted to check back to show Rix's bike is still getting around. I bought it from him as a backup for my other EXR and set it up as a dual sport. I had a chance to modify our trailer and take the bike with us. I was able to wander around the bayous of New Orleans a couple weeks ago and...

    ALTA negatives

It will but you will need to machine a flat then drill and tap new holes. Be careful as there is not a lot of extra metal there.

It is just a brake tip (Hammerhead is one brand) for a KTM or Husaberg. You can get them off eBay.

    Footpeg spring retainer

The way I solved this was to drill a 1/8' dia hole into the bracket. I then inserted a 1/8" dowel pin (drill bit end) to act as a spring stop. The hole is drilled and the pin is pressed in about 1/4". Problem solved. In about a years use it has never given me any more problems. Here is a...

Display Guard - Protect it from crashes!

If your display cable is routed so that you have enough slack, you can carefully bend the brackets for better visibility. Making sure you don't kink the cable, bend the AltaVault upward (bending the metal brackets) so the screen is more visible. This adjustment was made possible but is only...

Display Guard - Protect it from crashes!

The guard brackets were made to be used on any handlebar setting. The handlebar clamps can be in three positions bolted to the top triple clamp. Align what hole fits for the position you choose and cut off the excess, rounding the corners. You may enlarge the hole for a minor adjustment. The...

Display Guard - Protect it from crashes!

I put one on my MX first, but I had converted it to street legal so it still was behind the number plate of the headlight. Post yours so others can see how it looks in MX configuration.
