Well, we've made some positive progress lately. While the state of Alta is basically still in limbo, some good things have developed in the last month, but the last 10 days specifically has been full of good things (for once) for Alta owners. Lets look back on some of the progress...

Let’s not forget they already have development money in the freeride electric, so the are already “in it”.

I don’t doubt this. Especially if they were A packs, but we’ve heard of guys getting warnings on R packs too. Top level rider on a GP style track, especially sand... would kill it quick IMO. And I’m sure the profit margins on gas bikes are better, so that all makes sense. Fact still remains...

You can bet your last dollar they are working on one. Probably won’t see a full size MX bike for another 3 years minimum. Rumor is the mini will follow the pee wee which is supposed to be a 2020 model.

My first thought was it was more recent, this picture Alta posted last summer with vague hints that something was to come of it.

That’s a good question all joking aside. Perhaps @datadog or @Judaslefourbe could shed some light on the situation.

You could hop off the bike while the regen is active, push it a bit for a recharge and get some great exercise in the process!:LOL: Two birds with one stone as they say!

The code is possible on any bike as it just signals a voltage imbalance, but the problems we are referring to in this thread are somewhat specific to 2018 MXR’s as Onelapper stated.
