Would anyone considering a graphics kit in the near future be potentially interested in a “Team AltaOwnersForum.com” themed kit? I’m looking to put something together for myself and could see if a vendor would consider a discount for multiple kits. Just a thought.

Once the time is spent on the logos and basic design I doubt variation to things like fenders and front number plate templates are going to be a big deal. It’s not like this would be specific to these 24 hour races, and if you already have money in a graphics kit than it wouldn’t make sense...

I’m not totally sold on the look, but you could use the fender as a springboard it’s that rigid. The fender I used was from Cycra and it was advertised as being more rigid than a stock fender. Number plate is a Cycra staduim plate. Now I need some fender graphics...

@leeo45 , Paul’s bike was the first Alta I rode. I would have bought my bike there and then but we were traveling and I wasn’t prepared to buy a bike. Great place, Highland Park and Durhamtown are my two favorite places to ride. Looks like they got it together on their suspension settings...

No, it means I spend entirely too much time here. Can’t wait for riding weather... It’s been coming up a lot lately. I guess we should all keep one of these 9v batteries on hand.

Well, my 18 MXR has the 6061 clamps, so apparently the change didn’t happen till later.

I’ll keep tabs on the gap. The clamps on my MXR were definitely not easy to move the fork tubes in, in fact they were more difficult then they should have been to move the tubes in. Maybe there was a manufacturing change in 18.

@Cyrus David , 2018 EX? It’s interesting, there is apparently another member @Cody129 not far from you with the identical symptoms on a 2017 MX. You guys might want to start a dialogue.

That’s unfortunate. Sometimes mistakes just happen or it could have been an issue beyond their control. Hopefully they take care of you, that’s what matters in these situations.

You have to use an Energizer L522 Ultimate Lithium 9v though. Let us know how you make out.

It’s possible your problem is related to the 9v in the ACM. I’d try this first;
