I’m with you on wanting to be able to order my own parts quickly at home on my computer. I doubt it’s something that Alta would initiate though as I’m sure from a dealers point of view it’s a big negative having some big internet company taking a chunk out of your parts sales. It will happen...

That situation was so obviously biased it wasn’t even funny, and no amount of excuses will convince me otherwise.

It’s not designed to be continually plugged in and unplugged without compromising the integrity of the connection, if that makes any better sense.

Just shooting from the hip here, but it's possible Alta doesn't even realize there is a box that can adapt to this configuration, or there is some minor safety/liability issue that goes along with doing it that way in which case they wouldn't condone it's use. Or not.

@Mark911 tried to buy one and they told him there are none available to purchase. At this point it seems they don't have any stock built up.

Contact Scott at Elite Motorsports, I believe he had some adapter cords made. There won’t be any other commercially available product you can buy. You can also change the plug on the charger pretty easily.

I was thinking Utah. We're going to be going out to the coral pink sand dunes state park this year. Not sure how the Alta is going to do as far as the battery life there. Probably not good. You ever ride there?
