it a michelin starcross 5 its a soft terrain tire the set was on it when i bought it, im not sure i like them i prefer intermediate tires. also it really needs a 110 rear. im not that easy on it though i got 19 miles out of the battery today mostly in map 4 lol. but i guess i dont like to peel...

so I dont know why all the reviews on these things say they eat tires. this is after 100 miles of hard rock riding, my 250f eats more tires than this bike.

so what sprockets fit the alta or from what bikes?

yeah i wish mine had a 10kwh battery, then it be great for all my riding.

they all should be similar every alta has a 5.8kwh battery. they are fun bikes though(hard to ride a gas bike after lol). the battery is equivalent to just over 1 gallon on a 250f in all my tests

on my mx i average 20-25 miles, if i baby it i can get 30 miles but i rarely do.

that's cool , but i have to ask why do we have to rely on the dealers which aren't very smart or have poor service in my case while some of us have engineering degrees, and or can maintain every other equipment by ourselves alta is the only company that Ive dealt with that forces you to rely on...

thats why i said similar, I couldn't find the old video i was looking for where they raced their sx models. but they definatly arent in inflatable domes, or probably not as big of supercross as your thinking. i would think indoor fmx would be the first thing electric would take over.

I think adding mass(or heavier flywheel ) like he did in the video would eat up battery life. you want less resistance not more to consume less energy. I think what he wanted could be done easily in a map reprogram.
