thanks the suspesion is the only thing i dont care for on the mx, i'm just debating if the mxr's extra power would be worth extra since i found a mx cheaper than im finding a mxr.

very carfully with a flat head screwdriver, ive been removing security bolts for years it was easy. I was thinking it was the dumbest thing that they used them till i found out they didnt hold the throttle on lol. but i was shocked they didnt grease the throttle tube i guess nobody does...

yes, it tightens a metal ring clamp. I was baffled also when i found it after i removed the 2 security screws lol

theres one hiddin torx bolt that takes the throttle off

ive been the same way, but the manager at my local dealer was something else over me buying mine from another dealer, and having them do the firmware updates.

i hear yah, its hard to even go back to riding a loud 450 after riding one of these for a year, also i have some buddies that think the louder the bike is the more power it has lol. I just cant wait till i can get at least 40 miles on a charge.

this is so true for st george, that and theyre bringing in all their endangered species to shut down all the riding areas.

yeah theyre alot better than the 4cs imo. but the bearings werent hard to find i just had to order them. but i chose the crf450 triples so itd look the same since thats what fender and number plate alta uses

so i test fitted the 2010 crf450 triple clamps and they fit real well but they could use some different bearings

as far as i know the mx are the exact same(except the 2018 got white plastics) between years as well as the mxr so far. but the mx suspesion is junk out the box after revalve and respring its livable. as for the power at a quarter battery map 4 turns into map 3 its noticable but its not a huge...

so i test fitted a kyb rear shock and it fits better than factory, so my plan to fully convert my mx to kyb suspesion will happen in the future.

thats cool, I've had mine in a river up to the fenders, and my waist. It just cruised through it no problem.
