What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

Dealerships and users on this forum have mentioned that dealerships will get bikes well before our individual pre-orders are fulfilled. As for customization, even the dealership orders can be customized up until the order is locked right before it goes into production. Some dealership reported...

Varg to compete @ British MX championships

I'll add my take on this which leans towards "I don't care much if there is low interest from OEMs to make electric dirtbikes". Ha. Well, I do from the sense that OEMs might spur further advancements/innovations with their R&D budgets. But really, it's not going to be motorcycle companies that...

Varg to compete @ British MX championships

That could easily occur even if there were two classes if, as I suggested, the two classes run in the same races until there are enough riders for the classes to have their own separate races. And even if separare races, lap times would also give that data (meanimg, which class has the faster...

Varg to compete @ British MX championships

10-4. Thanks for clarifying. I, too, like and ride both ICE and electric and hope both are around for a long time (even though I prefer electric and, as their capabilities increase, find myself grabbing my electric bikes more and more). I just don't like the idea of governing bodies lumping very...

Varg to compete @ British MX championships

And that is what we should NOT want, in my opinion. I don't want to misunderstand what you are saying, but it sounds like you think it was a good thing two-strokes went away. If I interpreted that correctly, why was that good? Your description outlines very well how the governing bodies failed...

Varg to compete @ British MX championships

My take on it is I really dislike that they are allowing/lumping electric in with ICE. Lumping 4strokes in the same class with 2strokes was a mistake as will be lumping electric in with 4strokes. Electric should have their own class and so only complete, for finishing place, against other...

Charge Your eBike Silently - Amazing Battery Tech Is Coming from China

I'd like to have more capacity in our current pickup camper, but as mentioned, it only can fit one 100ah. The newer design of the same model had it's battery compartment moved/redesigned due to demand. It still can't fit the wider SOK brand, but it will fit two standard sized 100Ah lifepo4 or...

Charge Your eBike Silently - Amazing Battery Tech Is Coming from China

Lots of possibilities out there at a lot of different quality and price points (and the two are not necessarily related). One good option are the SOK server rack battery packs which are now UL1973 Certified. SOK Battery | 100Ah 48v | User-Serviceable Rack Mount Battery – Current Connected...

Charge Your eBike Silently - Amazing Battery Tech Is Coming from China

200lbs isn't horrible if you are permanently installing and rarely have the need to move it. Following your link, the 5kwh version is $1,512. The 10kwh version is $2,894.50. They have it in server rack format as well; not only the power wall format. Reading more, this is only the battery/BMS...

What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

That's because they are giving you a hand built one-off bike...or they are still trying to figure out a way to let you down easy. Ha.

What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

No. No deliveries yet. Just the "rolling chassis" shown above that is making the dealership tour stops (no working battery in it). I have some Varg on order with the first one being ordered the first day (Dec. 14, 2021) and my estimated delivery date on that one is Sep. 30, 2023 (U.S. order).

Real first picture of the Stark grey

If you are talking about a new online order, an easy way to check is there website. I just went and looked. If one ordered today (Jan. 12, 2023), the estimated delivery date is July 24, 2024. If you are asking about existing orders, those start around Sept of 2023. If ordering from a...

Happy to hear that all "no-cost" options can be changed all the way up until fullfillment.

Real first picture of the Stark grey

This the gray color rendering, that I saved off, that Stark provided on release day and for reservation consideration. Final color held true to rendering.

Real first picture of the Stark grey

Like I said in the FB thread, I love the gray and it's what I ordered on the day Varg was announced. Looks like the Varg gray turned out fairly close to the original rendering on their order form. My 2020 Yamaha YZ450F, that I converted to a snowbike after only a handful of breakin hours on...

€50 million investment in Stark Future by Royal Enfield parent company

I submit that a reasonable measurement, of how motorcycles/scooters are used in the world, is by time-in-seat each day/commute rather than miles driven by that user. I agree that rural areas, in any part of the world, would require longer range and higher speed commutes which may or may not work...

€50 million investment in Stark Future by Royal Enfield parent company

Sounds like you are coming at this from a USA perspective and not a global perspective where small motorcycles are the primary local transportation. Current electric motorcycle power and range are more than adequate to fill millions upon millions of the worlds motorcycle use cases. In north...

Sent: 05 December 2022 16:29 To: support@starkfuture.com Subject: Varg Premium subscription vs Free subscription Hi, In early release videos and interviews, Stark noted that there would be Premium Subscriptions and Free Subscriptions associated with the Varg and that the subscription level...

SV software license, potential subscriptions, smart bike ramifications etc

That is one way to look at it, however I already do consider that I'm saving on fuel, oil, engine maintenance, convenience, noise, etc. for my current non-ICE, battery electric powersports and tools: dirtbikes, eMTB, two lawn mowers, snowblower, chainsaw, trimmer and blower, and don't pay...
