Code 37 after +6000kms of MX

Code 37 is triggered when the humidity sensor reads >70% for over 60 continuous seconds. Check your log (will need to download it from the bike) and see if that had occurred.

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Changed my mind since you spelled my name with an i instead of y. Sorry! :p

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Mark, I believe i'm sending the special alta tools directly to you. I bought a huge package of motor orings and output shaft orings, i'll toss some of each in the box for you.

List of aftermarket products for the Alta

Will steering stem bearings from a KTM work on our bikes? or are they Alta specific (go with the SKF ones above)?

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

By far the most annoying part of this process is feeding the motor leads, position sensor and temp sensor wires through the bulkhead. In the video im putting together i offer some tips but the basic idea is to feed the position sensor wire in first, then the temp sensor, then the black terminal...

STARK VARG (Something new is coming!)

@Mark911 curious your thoughts on the cell configuration? Laying the cells horizontally and mating then directly to the case should help provide more efficient and even cooling of the cells when riding. I suspect they're will still be a temperature gradient in the center core of the pack, but...

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Motor pressed back in the rear bulkhead. I chose to use the tusk case splitter tool again to make the job easier. Just like pushing the motor out, it required a little more force to push the motor in than i could do with my bare hands. With lubricated orings the motor slid in with very minimal...

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Ready to go back in the bike! New shaft, bearings, and orings around the motor.

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

New bearings pressed on to new output shaft. Now to press the motor side shaft bearing outer race into the motor plate. Pay extra attention and be absolutely sure the motor plate is supported and flush all the way across so you dont bend it while pressing the bearing! You have 5mm tall allen...

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Snapped a quick clip from the video of how i mounted the Tusk case splitter to push the motor out. It really didn't require much force, just more than i could do with my bare hands.

    Stark VARG suspension choices

I fully expect that i'll be revalving the suspension on mine right away, like i do with all my bikes, but at least it'll come with the correct springs for my weight (assuming they have it right).

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

I dont have pictures with the case splitter mounted but i have been recording video to document the process and will upload a walkthrough video after im done.

Stark Varg foot or hand brake?

I went with the footbrake option thinking it would be way easier to add a hand brake later vs the latter. I've tried Alta's with a hand brake but ultimately feel better using a foot brake since i bounce back and forth between my Alta and my gas bikes.

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Just waiting on a 12-ton hydraulic press that i ordered to arrive (should be here Friday) and then i'll be able to start the reassembly process. Bike has been down for longer than i wanted, but life has had me quite busy the last few months. Hoping to have the bike back together before the New Year!
