Not really. If anything, the bike puts the power to the ground better, rather than just spinning or wheelieing easily. Its still quite easy to wheelie. I like it because it moves the power higher in the mph range.

Haven't been to Perris MX in a while. Its a really tight track with lots of jumps and rutty corners. Even so, 14/52 gearing is prime here. Enjoy!

As far as i know, i'm getting my bike in March and sounds like dealers will be getting demo bikes shortly after that.

Want to buy Need slow charger anyone looking to sell? Call me 6099174669

FYI, "Slow" charger can also charge "fast" using a 240v adapter. Not quite as fast as the rapid charger on 240v, but close enough.

    Better braking

Whats the position of your rear brake pedal with the cam like that? I stand a lot (you can stand way more on electric bikes vs gas) and find that i prefer the rear pedal slightly higher than level with the Tusk footpegs. I usually ride on the balls of my feet and having the pedal higher makes...

Media Review Media Week in Spain - Electric Cycle Rider

Orrrr you could simply use max acceleration values where the bike won't allow the rear tire to spin up faster than a certain rate. Those limits obtained by lots of testing. :) Wait until you're able to adjust traction control (acceleration rate) and regen/engine braking to suite your preferred...

Bike no longer saving log files?

Is the card easy to remove from the ACM? That would be magnitudes faster than downloading the logs at 10kb/sec via multitool o_O

Bike no longer saving log files?

If that were the case I wouldn't be able to read old log files from it. It would be odd if only writing to it was broken.

Bike no longer saving log files?

I thought of that, but i have my laptop hooked up to the bike almost every time i'm at the track, and always sync the dates.

Bike no longer saving log files?

I recently tried downloading log files off my bike after not having done it in over a year. Multitool isn't pulling any log files off the bike over the past 18 months. Is this happening with anyone else? I can't imagine its a scenario where the onboard memory is full and thus the bike is no...

Easy WP fork tweaks (all models)

Just trying to make sure i understand what youre doing here. So essentially youre removing the air from the air spring chamber, adding a little oil into the air spring chamber , compressing so the oil reaches the balance chamber, and then adding back air pressure but a little less since the...

    Top speed Stark Varg

Its 80hp maximum output. There's no way anyone will have an average usage of 80hp. The average usage output will be much less than that. Given the Varg appears to have a more thermally efficient battery configuration, it should easily go over an hour on tight trail riding. On the Alta EXR i had...

Currently have 12/52 gearing on the bike, but will be going back to 14/52 for more top speed. I always ride with max power available.

Back on the bike after a 2 month hiatus leading up to my wedding and honeymoon. Feels great to be back riding!!! Dusting off the cobwebs at first on the Vet track until my fitness comes back.

    Withdrawn Complete Alta Drivetrain

I dont see a problem with him piecing together working parts individually to make a complete working powertrain, using it in an application, and then wanting to sell it as a complete system. Didnt electrobraap do exactly that with the grom?

    Withdrawn Complete Alta Drivetrain

Dont you think thats a pretty harsh outlook on a guy who has selflessly donated his engineering knowledge and expertese as a retired aerospace engineer to this community for the past 4 years, single handedly fixing owners bikes, including my own, without asking for much in return? Mark is one of...
