You just bought your bike, give it another week or so and you should be as hopelessly hooked as the rest of us. Just takes a couple weekends of riding to complete the process.
I don't have a problem with Alta, I can quit any time I want! I just might start right after this next ride. Or maybe the next, but I tell you I can quit whenever I want!
This is not an entirely true assumption, every melt/freeze cycle will degrade the material, and the more heat used per melt, the faster the degredation. The thermoplastic will become more brittle each time it is heated and melted, but for a small number of melt cycles the effect will be minimal.
It's progress, but the article made it sound like the cooperation between the companies was just for a charging standard, not much more. Possibly a mistranslated statement, hopefully it leads to much bigger and better things.
@F451 don't forget that Yamaha also makes a line of inverter generators like Honda, similar in most aspects including MSRP. So if you find a used one on CL, it will be priced similar to the EU 6500.
Good luck and happy hunting.
LoL, perfect.
I have a significant inability to be serious too, sarcasm is a valid form of communication. Can't wait to kick back around a fire with a beer and swap lies after some time on the trails.
My solution was to get a cool keyring that is thin enough to slip down between the faring ribs to keep it from interfering while riding, but still be easy to keep track of if it drops.
