I forgot to mention, my bike seemed to have less gear noise with fresh mobile 75w90 gear oil. There was some metallic goop on the magnet that I cleaned off. Not surprised for new gears and parts though.

Do you have part numbers for the sensor and magnet? I have a motogadget I just installed to run my lights etc, it would be great to get the distance function working.

I changed mine last weekend after about 10 hours on the bike. Overall easy riding hours. Only one ride with significant moisture from a deeper water section.

Also, it looks like they had to modify the inverter housing top upper and lower cap to make room for this plug. The top cap material looks to be cast metal instead of plastic as well. Possibly for durability or improved thermal properties?

You are 100% correct. But this isn't a pressure vessel, and the seals will be designed as such. It's a gearbox with an open breather tube.

The issue with this is you want it to breathe (in and out) but avoid water ingress. A gore vent would be perfect for this.

New and never used Stark 21/18 power tubes. $50 shipped. These are new replacements from Stark that just arrived a few days ago. I decided to use traditional heavy duty tubes since it suits my woods and trail riding better than ultra lightweight.

Looks good! Also, FYI there is 12v available on the bike without cutting into the factory harness if you need it. I'm in the process of getting all of my street legal gear set up. I'm going to be running a motogadget for all the low voltage control and switching etc.

How far do you need to go, what temps will you be riding in, and are you sure electric is the right type of bike for this?

Yea that makes sense, I'm just over 3100 and I have a 2024. Paid in full the last week or two of 2023.
