Supermoto on stock Stark Varg MX

Not because of the engine breaking. I used just 50% and like it very much that way. On a sidenote i had the Stark at 100% on Enduro downhills where it did ''lock-up'' and slide. I would however experiment with the engine brake a bit more next time. I loved it on most of the track, but adding...

Supermoto on stock Stark Varg MX

Ah yess this is also a little bit of a range test: Each session i did about 17-18 minutes and used about 25%. That's incluiding 80hp pulls on the straight, going a 120+ km/h back to 180 degree turn in a few hundred meters. That are about 17 laps of 1 km. So 17km x 4 = 68km range. IF you ride...

Does anyone know exactly which KTM Super Duke brake caliper works on the Stark Varg

I'm 100% sure the SX/EXC version is the same. Maybe look through KTM parts numbers and compare there?

Interest poll: What kind of charger would get your money on the table?

I could live with a intgegrated charger of 10kg that's a module you can take out during competition. Maybe even design a bit wider plastics for it to fit. It's on par with ICE Enduro's for weight, but all the benefits do allow for a 10kg penalty and still be the better bike. The bike is very...

Supermoto on stock Stark Varg MX

Funny to see diverent riders actual prever different setups. But mine was not a preverence. It was the best i could come up with:ROFLMAO: Still had a great time riding and actually liked riding it better than the fully setup Husqvarna 501 i rode in the video. Especially on the tight stuff the...

Supermoto on stock Stark Varg MX

Last saturday afternoon i decided i wanted to try a SM session. So i got myself a used leather suit from marketplace, put some road tyres around some KTM MX rims (21-19) i had lying around and had a blast the next morning. Actually worked pretty well. Was the only one to show up without proper...

Tarrifs...How will they affect Stark Varg EX pricing?

Funny sidenote. That only incluides actual products. Services are left out. And that's where the US has a deficit to almost every country. Would you add that in the tarifs would be way lower still. But actually i don't try to bother too much. It does concern everyone, but i suspect it won't be a...

Tarrifs...How will they affect Stark Varg EX pricing?

For what it's worth. The Netherlands increased their BPM (taxes special to bikes/cars etc) on E bikes from 0 to 19,4% wich should add €2.565 to the EX Alpha. However the price remained the same. Maybe the 20% tarif on EU bikes for the US will do the same. However that market is way bigger than...

Favorite hp setting for track on stark varg

On sand tracks mostly 48hp with 40 regen. Hard pack tight track 42hp 50 regen. My maps are 35-42-48-60-80 with whatever amount of regen i like on that track. It's not uncommon for me to switch between 48-60 on track.

    1 Year maintenance Steering

Same here. Also the layer of grease was very thin. Everywhere though, also on the rear linkage and swingarm. This is my first new bike so i never knew how little grease OEM's put there. Some other riders told me all the brands have it like this. Whenever i buy a used bike it gets a good amount...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

Don't need a deal. Full price is well below steal price of a KTM.

Sprocket Selection - Ludicrous? Maybe, but it's working for me. Custom foot pegs. Still want a clutch.

True, but it's for very short obstacles. Think of 2 meters of logs and before and after sand track where i like 40% regen. Also switching very fast between maps gets my phone to lock up resulting in no insight on battery etc. I can very much live with as is, don't get me wrong, but if we're...

Sprocket Selection - Ludicrous? Maybe, but it's working for me. Custom foot pegs. Still want a clutch.

But closing the throttle in a whiskey throttle situation doesn't really work and the bike is too strong for the rear brake. Maybe have a pressure switch in there that can cut the power after a certain amount of pull or have a little 1 finger "clutch" would help. I also like pulling the clutch on...

    NOISEY STARK

And the unsprung weight is huge. The whole motor is in the swingarm.

If you consider the KTM 150 also take a look at the Beta 200 Racing. Bit less topend but way smoother over the rest of the gear. A bit like a mini 300. My Girlfriend has one. Although i'm faster on the Stark on every track i really like that bike.

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

One issue with a full size bike is that is will be compared to the full size ICE bikes. Then you come up to decades of chassis development. One reason Stark is doing so well is they invested heavy in the chassis department and actually have a good bike, even if it was an ICE it would do very...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

There's nothing wrong with a 43mm strengthwise. You can jump a KTM 890S/Yahama T7 with those. The problem is in the damping and cavitation. Beta and Aprilia have used 45mm forks to great succes. We also see 43mm in a lott of woods bikes like the Beta Xtrainer, KTM Freeride etc and those bikes...

Bonnell 40hp and 60hp dirt bikes and e-bikes

The big bike has some cool pieces and some not so cool i guess. Pro's: - The programmable left hand lever is a very nice feature. Clutch, just for panic grip our release downhill, electronic clutches have no wheel pop function. But the programmable rear brake is a great way to get some energy...

Interest poll: What kind of charger would get your money on the table?

I guess all chargers must be made by Stark because of it working with the app. But not an expert on that. Also warranty might be a thing here. I've seen and felt the 1800W charger of the Arctic Leopard and that was well below 5kg. With a slightly different form factor i guess you could place...
